WOW I get to Fight as Arthas with the Frostmourne!

here are his 4 abilities.

Deathstorm

basically a cleave that restore 5% of your total mana.

this spell rezs the Knights into ghouls. its a target ground type spell.

Fun quest... just be aware of where you "dismount" when you are done with the quest. I just popped into a huge mob of about 15 guys.

Don't run too far from where you start the quest, when you get the warning that you should return it is more or less too late and you will be surrounded by a huge bunch of mobs (the same ones you killed earlier in Do Your Worst...and the dead remember :P).

Okay for those addicted to this quest and thinking to max out the fun by aggroing all the guards at the same time, DONT.

I aggroed everything, fired the Deathstorm, and POOF the whole server came down. >_<

This quest needs to be a daily. I would do this without boredom.

Remeber, use the 4th spell when low on health/mana. And just keep killing and summoning ghouls.

when 10+ guys were hitting on me at once I had a very hard time casing deathstorm.. it wouldn't cast so I had to cleave them all to death and then deathstorm those at range

once you dismount all the regular mobs will reappear. so when you're done, make sure to dismount near the tent or soldiers.

I had some trouble completing this quest. Hopefully my instructions will help anyone else having this problem:

When you are turned into the Prince; You need to target the Armies of Lore(can't remember the rest). They are the guys in Yellow.

What I did was stand on the wooden plank like podium, target the closest one and use the #1 button. As soon as they died, I hit #3 which gives you a green circle. Hover over the ones you just killed to turn them into your minions.

Use #4 as soon as your mana gets to half (usually one combo of 1 &3) to sustain your health and your mana.

Rinse and repeat until done. If you need to leave the stand to get to those further away, remember DO NOT exit (red arrow to the right of the new bar you get) until you are back on that stand as you will be back in the middle of a bunch of mobs.

If you die during this, just talk to the quest giver; he'll put you right back as the prince.

Epic quest - Simply kill a few of these guys, then raise them up, then kill some more, then raise them up, and before ya know it, you got yourself a Scourge army. =D

One of the many epic quests that lay awaiting the new players to Wrath of the Lich King in Icecrown.

As soon as the Icecrown raid is up, Icecrown will have a raid to join its already epic content.

While I understand Matthias is trying to tell us Arthas/The Lich King is a ruthless dude, i don't get why it is so futile to demolish large swaths of scourge.

Yes, it takes a real jerk to kill guys who have faithfully served you for months, but just because he is capable of turning them, doesn't mean there are an infinite number of corpses out there.

While any fallen soldier can be risen, if you just killed 150 ghouls, 20 necromancers and two giant ass bone guys, haven't you at least delayed him a tiny bit?

Now THIS is what Army of the Dead should be...minus the requirement for corpses. Summon 100 little ghouls to serve as a proper "Legion" as mentioned in the DK spell instead of 6-8. That would make DK insanely overpowered though...but it'd give the nice ability to try and pull a good fraction of a major instance...hit that spell....and watch the carnage. Ah and have the ability to command all the ghouls to explode at once in it...like you can do on a one for one basis for your army or you pet ghoul if you target them. In this case 10min CD would be kinda overkill...it'd then have to be a 1hr CD spell. Wishful thinking...AoD is perhaps my favorite DK skill.

True though, very fun quest. Too bad had to turn it in to move on.
