On the roadway from Howling Fjord into Grizzly hills around the coords of (62.6,60.8) if you look right there is a fence and a mountain with an opening in between. If you go in there, at most, youll have two youll have to fight before getting to Grumbald. Grumbald has a fighter that walks in a large circle, but he's easily missable and you wont have to fight him. It was a lot easier to get in and get out and not having to fight the 10+ or so getting to him.

I found Grumbald One-Eye standing alone at 66, 58 next to a totem in a clearing. He re-spawned three times while I hung around editing this post, so it's safe to say that 66, 58 is his spawn point. There are guards at the clearing's entrances, but he's otherwise alone in the clearing. Not much risk of adds if you stay away from the walls.

Note: A roaming Redfang Elder will occasionally pass through the clearing.

Fortunately, I think I know of a way to translate the journal of this Brann.

The shamans of the Redfang furbolgs, who congregate at the Heart's Blood Shrine south of the camp, grow an herb known as spiritsbreath. An experienced mystic can use incense made from it to seek wisdom from the spirits of the ancestors.

Seek out the shaman known as Grumbald One-Eye. He should carry the herb for his devotions to Ursoc.]
