Wowhead links and analysis:At
Revered with Zandalari Empire, upon completion of
마지막 봉인, you will also unlock the first quest series for
정령의 가호가 따르길.
We don't know what's in store for the second half of the achievement, but this cinematic is likely related. We thought it would unlock when people hit Exalted with Zandalari Empire, but that hasn't been the case yet.
We've also datamined some related dialogue, under the spoiler tag:
Talanji: Vol'jin, son of Sen'jin, hear de voices of your friends and family. Dey are wondering where you are.
Vol'jin: Loss...
Master Gadrin: I be hearin' him!
Talanji: Hush.
Vol'jin: Loss... Loss. So much loss. So many without guidance. So many without justice. Dere hope be taken by G'huun.
Talanji: Vol'jin, can you hear us? Reveal yourself, spirit.
Spirit of Vol'jin: Show dem, leader of Zandalar. Show da blade to those dat need to see it da most. Give dem peace.
Talanji: Dis was not my achievement.
Vol'jin: Ya brought de champion to dese shores against ya father's will. Ya learned da secrets of G'huun when no one be listenin'.
Ya set in motion what be needed ta save ya people. Now, more than ever, dey be callin' for a leader dey can love and trust.
Show dem da blade. Become da symbol dey need.
Talanji: Behold de blood of G'huun. By his will were borne de deaths of Shadra, Hi'reek, Torga, and ...and Rezan.
Talanji: By his will were borne de deaths of so many of our brothers and sisters.
Talanji: Let dis glaive be displayed as a reminder dat no matter how far we fall, no matter how much we lose, we are Zandalari! We adapt, we find a way to survive!
Talanji: If it were not for dis hero of de Horde, our losses would have been far worse. Dis proves, more than ever, dat it is time for us to adapt, to become part of de world again.
Talanji: Zandalar forever!
Keep in mind that Talanji does not know the full extent of King Rastakhan's deal with Bwonsamdi. We could have an interesting face-off in the future should Talanji receive the support of Vol'jin while Rastakhan is promising support of Bwonsamdi. In Rezan's absence, Rastakhan has promised Bwonsamdi the role usually held by the Loa of Kings--a role that Vol'jin would fit into quite nicely.
Talanji's character development in this storyline also shows how she differs from her father, with better judgement and adaptability. At the start of the Horde questline, she appears untested, victoriously returning home to a powerful empire and naval fleet. While King Rastakhan doesn't immediately like the Horde, the faction fares better than Jaina's immediate exile when trying to broker a deal between the Alliance and Kul Tiras. However, Rastakhan's poor judgement turns out to be his undoing, as Zul successfully enacts a coup and the horrors of Uldir are unsealed.
Talanji, similar to Jaina at the end of the Kul Tiras story arc, must step up to lead her people and rebuild hope. Both princesses, wielders of powerful magic and heirs to naval kingdoms, are trying to rebuild empires after their parents were blinded by complacency, ignoring the political turmoil around them. King Rastakhan nearly loses his kingdom in Zul's coup, with many loa killed in the battle. Katherine is framed and nearly forced to abdicate by Lady Ashvane. The younger generation has a better grasp on politics and threats, initially ignored by the parents. In the
Pride of Kul Tiras cinematic article, we compare how the Alliance finale ends on a note of hope, while the equivalent Horde cinematic as darker as Mythrax unlocks Uldir.
The Island Nations eventually join the Alliance and Horde, which you can read more about in our
Kul Tiras and
Zandalari Troll Allied Race overviews. Note that we do not know how to recruit these races yet, but you can learn about available armor, classes, mounts, and more.
These princesses may have restored temporary peace to their kingdoms, but the threat of Azshara looks near and we wonder if we'll see a naval battle soon, around the location of N'Zoth's prison. We wrote about this in our
analysis of the Warbringers: Azshara cinematic.
We're also curious if Rastakhan's absence in the final datamined cinematic means something has happened to him--perhaps he is in the clutches of Bwonsamdi.
