The Waygate is located at 40,83. in Sholazar Basin. Southeast of The Mosslight Pillar.

It takes you to a previously inaccessible location in Un'goro north of Marshal's Refuge known as The Shaper's Terrace.

Just don't do what I did and jump down into Marshal's Refuge below. You can't get back up to the waygate and will have to burn your hearth or otherwise take the long way back to Northrend.

Edit: Obviously, in Cataclysm this is only a problem if you haven't bought a .(##RESPBREAK##)2056##DELIM##adashiel##DELIM##

You do NOT have to have done the Sholazar quests to use the Waygate

Well this sucks. I took the quest at level 70 and now i'm stuck and cant complete. xD

any suggestions ? :(

for the purpose of 'children's week' you can access the waygate WITHOUT doing the questline L'ira della Custode della Vita normally needed to be started/completed to access the waygate

i can also confirm this by saying my level 73 alt was on Incontrare un Grande and was able to port through the waygate for orphan quest, clearly having no access to sholzar basin at that level to complete or access any quests.

once children's week ends however all access will be lost to use the waygate unless you start the avatar of freya chain quest which isnt obtainable till level 77.

Waygate is at 40,82. Go through it and up the stairs to the Etymidian.

Once I got there I was unable to use the whistle to call out the orphan. Tried to reload my UI but still didn't work.

Take your orphan, Roo, to visit the Etymidian at the Shaper's Terrace. Make sure to call for him if he is not present when you get there.

High-Oracle Soo-say always tell us about how Great Ones built shrines and we give them shinies, but he never see Great Ones. No one see Great Ones, but maybe you know how to find one?

Soo-say told us the Great Ones made a waygate and put it in the center of the southern part of Sholazar. Soo-say not say where it goes, but maybe it take us to a Great One! Take us through that waygate and let's find out, <name>.
