One of the pre-reqs for this quest is Raise the Barricades. As soon as I turned in that quest, Korm finally let me pick up this one.

I went to 48.9, 35.4 using the macro listed here and shot all 6 down very quickly (as soon as GC was over I was shooting another down)

52.39 is a great place to stand to camp the fighters as well.

OMG, the first three comments are awesome, great vantage point and flawless macro. Completed this quest in less than 30 seconds, thanks guys.

Use macro or ..... if you have epic flight it is very easy to swoop in, target skybreaker, drop to ground, fire missle, rinse and repeat. Was done in 2 minutes, no trouble from mob.

quest seems to be bugged in classic wrath. No mobs are spawned

Can't speak for 2022, but it worked just fine for me now. 47,43 on a low rock outcropping and I was done in no time at all. The old macro posted below did not work for me, however.

Use the SGM-3 to destroy 6 Skybreaker Recon Fighters, then report back to Sky-Reaver Korm Blackscar aboard Orgrim's Hammer.

Descrizione

The Alliance has somehow managed to field a squadron of recon vehicles over the Valley of Fallen Heroes and Icecrown Glacier, the broad areas west of Aldur'thar.

They cannot be permitted to take the lead in this fight. Chief Engineer Copperclaw has supplied me with the perfect weapon to deal with this threat -- he calls his new missile the SGM-3. I have his assurances that it will take out the Alliance flying machines in a single hit. Go and use this weapon to give us the upper hand.
