yeah its in crystalsong. also i think that whatever mbo you kill in the quest region drops the crystals. at least dropped at me. gl

unbound dryad was 100% dropprate for me not ~~50%~~ like many peoples have told (not on this site)

Its fun linking this quest with achievements in trade. Such as

Found that the best spot for them is in Crystalsong at 79,54 area. best drop rate is from Unbound Trickster.

This quest has a horrible drop rate but you can somewhat mitigate it by doing it at the same time as The Stone That Started A Revolution which you should have if you have this quest. The areas containing the quest items for that are full of enemies tightly packed together that drop crystalized energy and clearing them makes it easier to collect the materials for that quest. Doesn't make up for the super low drop rate but at least you can sort of kill two birds with one stone.

Descrizione

Southeast of here, at the eastern reaches of Crystalsong Forest, is an area known as the Unbound Thicket. Within that thicket creeps all manner of life. One thing all of the affected creatures of the thicket share in common is their affinity for magical energy. Each of them holds pure, crystallized energy. Enough to kill us all should it ever destabilize!

Travel to the Unbound Thicket and kill its denizens for crystallized energy. We need fuel and they need to die. We call that a "win-win."
