This is a rather straight forward quest.

The Rhino Dogs recipe is taught by trainers. Requires Rhino meat which of course comes from most Rhino's. Personally I would advise Borean Thundra if you plan farming these as there are plenty around P.E.T.A camp's.

The Wild Mustard can be found in most grassy areas. Krasus landing must be one of the larger areas, the circle around the Violet Citadel is also a good place to start.

This quest gave me 9 Gold, 93 Silver and 150 Kirin Tor rep at level 80.

"da grassy corners of de city", clearly stated. The mustard is found within Dalaran city, don't travel outside the city.

Very odd that this is the only cooking daily that awards 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards. Either this gives too many or the others don't give enough.

The wild mustard shows up on the minimap for herbalists.

Also, I only got one Dalaran Cooking Award when doing this the first time.

Edit: Weird, when doing it again today I got two awards... Maybe it's random?

I did the other quests like 4 times before getting this one, but I didn't get it till right after i turned 80. Curios? Also this is the only quest that gave me 2 awards as a reward, I have got a second award in the bags a few times.

Also herbalists can track these like the carrots from the other quest too.

It's pretty obvious, but you will not be able to loot the herbs while in a raid. Manually casting Herb Gathering while in a raid will only yield an empty slot.

Damn this quest sure is rare, got over 50 dalaran cooking awards and i've never seen it.

Excelent place to farm the Rhino Meat for this quest is to go out to the herds on Rhino near Warsong Hold in Borean Tundra. The packs are all below level 70, so move classes with any AoE abilities of note should be able to pull a pack or two and burn them down.

As a level 80 with an epic flying mount, I found it much faster and easier to go to Sstorm Peaks and farm Rhino Meat there instead of Sholazar Basin.

I don't know about you guys, but I've been doing the cooking-dailies for some month now (Agamaggan, EU) and this quest haven't occured once during that time. It is true that this quests yields 2 cooking awards instead of 1, and therefore should have a lower percentage of being the daily, but a full month?

Could it be a bug, or are we unfortunate people on Agamaggan just suffering under the woe of RNG?

Nope, only cooking one have its requirements changed - I just got the JC daily on lvl 71 char.
Also thottbot says its lvl 73

This quest appears to have a level requirement now. I had previously done all the cooking dailies multiple times on my 70 rogue and 73 hunter, but today I found he wouldn't offer the quest to my hunter any more, and I only see the grey ! mark above his head.

Not sure if this applies to all the Dalaran cooking dailies, but I assume it does. Bit of a disappointment there, not sure why they felt it so overpowering that characters below level 74 could earn cooking awards, but hey.

You don't need a campfire to make these, which I find logical, if you already have the Rhino dogs ready (not a bad idead to have a stack of those in your bank for when it's Mustard Dogs day.)

I farm chilled meat and rhino meat right outside of Nesingwary base camp in Sholazar Basin. The dreadsabers drop chilled meat and the rhinos drop rhino meat and chilled meat. Good respawn times and in a close proximity.

just a question, does this have any other weird requirements
im lvl 80 and have 450 cooking, and have done the cooking daily every day for over a month, and i have never seen this quest which means i cant get the achievement

Confirmed...

my alt dinged 65 today, went to train Cooking in Dalaran...

and lo and behold, a blue ! appeared at the inn when I arrived...

accepted and completed mustard dogs daily and got my 1st 2 cooking awards.

so, as of latest patch...level req'mt is now 65...

so the only daily Dalaran cooking a level 65 would have difficulty completing, will be the Sewer Stew since it requires leaving Dalaran to collect carrots, and the mobs in Crystalsong Forrest are 77-80...so, agro magnet FTL

Please don't rate this down as I am replying to a legit question since the new patch changed the requirements.

EDIT: as a level 65 I am still getting 195 Kirin Tor rep, and the cooking awards for each cooking daily, but only 2g 60s whereas my 80 main gets 9g 93s

Also, today I got the Sewer Stew daily and was afraid I couldn't do it as a 65 since it requires leaving Dal to collect carrots, but I had my main clear the few Unbound Seer demons near the carrot area, then I teleported down to the Violet Stand, got in my main's Travelers Tundra Mammoth and stayed near the river as there are a few level 78 wolves near...collected carrots, and teleported back up to Dalaran via the Violet stand (big pink bubble)...hope this helps any lower level trying to build Kirin Tor rep early like I am.

Wild mustard plants are around the town center (Dalaran fountain) near the walls. Mustard plants resporn after about 5 mins. 45,47 is the co ords for rhino in Borean.
