Caches can be found in the Zul'Maz Stronghold area around 63, 36. I suggest doing the this quest with the following:

The caches will sometimes place a random curse upon you. So, if you are not a mage or druid I suggest killing a bunch of the Tiki Warriors that surround the entire area first, then deal with the Hexed Cashes, so the curses don't become such a burden.

Also, the Tiki Warriors are known to drop Tiki Hex Removers at about a 15% drop rate, which can be used to remove all the hexes you get from opening cashes.

If you are a rogue and having bad luck with the hex removers dropping as I did, you can use Cloak of Shadows to remove it.

Watch your health when opening these. One of the hexes that hits you is a DoT for 6000 shadow damage over 25 sec. As a 77 BM hunter in quest greens and a few blues that's half my health, so it'll be a significant damage to anyone in this level range.

Don't be tempted to charge around opening these one after the other as you normally would in gather quests. The curses and DoTs add up and you can end up dead very quickly if you get too enthusiastic!

The Hexed caches put certain curses on you, but you can get the hex removals off the tiki warriors.

just to clarify, only one of these curses actually does damage, the other reduces your damage given and increases taken, and the other does something equally trivial. your best bet is to kill all the tikis in an area, getting one or two decursers, and then open them all, only decursing when you get the 6k dot.

Well, I don't know if this happened for anyone else, but I got the Hex of Agony on me, I was at full health and it still killed me, full health being 13k, at the end it was ticking for about 2k every few seconds, it was more like 20k dmg over 24 seconds, not sure how this works, but thats what happened to me.

There's also a curse from a cache called "Hex of Tongues" which increases cast time by 25% and forces player to speak demonic language for 2 minutes.

A very interesting debuff. You could delete the quest items from the inventory and open catches until the curse is received. Then talk to guildies or hearthstone or whatever one can come up with. A warlock with metamorphosis and demonic language would be a very interesting experience to see. I am definitely not completing this quest for continuing random laughs :)

The chests are little gold chests around Zol'Max Stronghold at around 63,35.....not the 53,27 they have in the directions above.

Pardon me, <name>. I'm given to understand that you might be heading northeast up to the Zol'Maz Stronghold. Such a trip presents a great opportunity for us to conclude our Drakkari goods gathering.

As I have come to know, the Drakkari warlord is extremely paranoid. He's had all of his caches at the stronghold hexed with dire magic. Rumor has it that his tiki warriors carry the cure, but who can say?

If you could find the time to acquire some of those goods, I would be most appreciative.
