Talk to a BE surrounded by dragons at the west side of the tower.

In In order to reach her from the ground level you need to talk to one of the dragons near the flightpath, and they'll take you up.

Talk to Tariolstrasz on the West side of the Temple. (57,54) He will take to the top where you can talk to Alexstrasza.

Part of the Horde questline for the Wrath Gate event. This quest line is very long and spans the entire length of Dragonblight. Quite honestly, I consider this one of the most important quest lines (thus far) in Wrath. A must-do for any hordeling. :)

In quite a few of these chains there are optional prequests. I will not list these, despite them being in the quest series list, because they are just that: Optional. I will list the LATEST quest available that will start the chain, or the one most likely to pick up while completing other parts of this chain.

Additionally, these quests are Horde Only. I, unfortunately, do not have an Alliance character on the Beta, so I do not have access to any alliance quests. Sorry!

Step names are purely flavor. They generalize what that part of the chain leads up to/is about.

I highly urge everyone to read the quest text. This quest line is quite possibly one of the most epic in Warcraft history and is highly worth the time. Lore lovers and haters alike should enjoy them.

Just started following lore after seeing all the comments on the quests preluding the wrathgate.
And I can say without regret.. it's kickass!

I find it ironic that Saurfang the Younger wishes to ask Alexstrasza for permission on assaulting the Wrathgate, yet when he confronted the Lich King, he foolishly rushed towards his death (or rather his first death).

Descrizione

Though I know you hunger to destroy the Scourge that stand before us at the Wrath Gate, we must first deal with the threat that looms overhead. Until the strafing assaults of the frost wyrms are halted, we cannot move forward.

But before we assault the dying grounds of dragons, we must first be granted permission. Venture now to the hallowed halls of dragonkind: Wyrmrest Temple. Once there, seek out Queen Alexstrasza.

Ride now, <name>! Southeast, to Wyrmrest!
