I found a good concentration around Grizzlemaw and also between the areas of Vordrassil's Limb (34,51) and Heart (38,52). They perch on rocks or fly slightly above you. You can use the feather on ones flying above you as long as they don't move too far out of range.

Just wondering if anyone knows the prereq's to be eligible for this quest chain.

- Got it, looks like you have to complete "My Enemy's Friend" and find Mikhail's Journal off one of the mobs in order to unlock this chain.

Big group around 37, 52. Also a fair bunch inbetween those 2 caves left of Grizzlemaw on the map.

Be very careful if you are on a Non'PvP server not to be flagged when you tag them. The Alliance gets a quest to kill these same eagles, and when you tag them, there is a 3-4 seconds window where you lose control of your toon while the Eagle rises up in the sky

At 38,52 facing northeast, you'll see a large bridge/arch with rocks surrounding it at the top of a hill, with Entropic Oozes on the other side. The Imperial Eagles all fly through this arch and also perch sometimes on it if you're lucky. It's a quick way to get the quest done fast instead of searching for them. Just camp here and tab target them as they fly past you.

I was able to get this quest after completing 'my enemy's friend' and i had NOT turned in mikhail's journal, or (as far as i can remember) any other quests in grizzly hills. Just a reference for people going for the trinkets.

Best way to do this quest is to go to an area that they're in, and just type "/tar imp" and click the silver feather. :)

Go to 41,59, no bear attacks and do not have to move off the spot to finish quest
Also you can do it by doing quests Vordrassil's fall and the darkness beneath as there are the birds all around the caves.

Go to 43,53 there's a bunch of neutral eagles. Just walk up, use the item on one. Rinse and repeat five times.

I've been asked to lend my support to our efforts against the Alliance. At the moment our military forces are about evenly matched and we're looking for ways to find an edge.

The imperial eagles that fly over the mountains and trees in this area would make excellent scouts for us. Take this silver feather and use it to bind my sight to that of them.

Being able to see our enemy's movements will grant us the strategic advantage we need. You'll find abundant eagles in the mountains to the east.
