If you're quite a low level (the mobs are 73-74) simply pull them towards the camp where you'll find a load of friendly NPC defenders. They will jump in after a few seconds and help out. You'll get less XP of course, but it works.

Once you finish An Exercise in Diplomacy you can do Northern Hospitality and you can do all these quest at level 73.
