The seeds are scattered around Grizzlemaw on the ground. Look for the sparklies on the ground near the log houses.

The are many seeds inside a small cave in the tree (where you can not mount). Also there are a ton of spawns out front of the tree by the camps.

A handful of these seeds can be found in the little cave inside, there are also a large amount of them along the very top scattered around the fighting furbolgs.

The back room at 50,37 has a bunch. It's down the ramp to the left when you go in the front.

The area around 51.46, 46.59 had all I needed. They respawn almost instant and there was around 5-7 in that area... took 1-2min.

Its the area where there are alot of mobs just outside the camp firing fire arrows into it. And I did this quest 5 times already in that area - worked like a charm each time.

There was a problem when I tried to do this quest on Nov. 29th 08. I tried 3 times to just abandon the quest and pick it back up, but I would be unable to pick up the seeds even though I physically saw them on the floor. I tried dumping it again then logging off and getting the quest again, the only thing that worked was when I turned off all my mods. I'm not sure which mod it was because I don't have that kind of patience, but something to note if this is happening to you.

Edit: Well out of pure curiosity on the last seed I decided to log off and enable all my mods, and the seeds where actually lootable. Now I have no idea whats wrong. Either there wasn't an interfacing issue to begin with that interfered with the actual picking up of the mods, or the problem was just getting the quest with mods on, or I could possibly be drunk right now. Moral of the story is I am not sure what's wrong with the quest, if you have problems I suggest just turning off your mods for the picking up the quest if nothing is working for you.

oh ya like I realy want to hand the seeds of a world tree to a druid I just met. "oh let me have them I'll just destroy them in a little bit" some thing funny is going on here...

To make your life slightly easier while doing this, you can kill one of the Frostpaws attacking the village. It`ll give you a buff that keeps the Redfangs from attacking you for a few minutes.

Had a weird situation, where nothing at all spawned on two lower levels of Grizzlemaw. There was only one lonely seed in the cave, with two furbolgs fighting over it. Had to go outside to gather all the seeds. Not sure what kind of bug it was.

Don't bother with the cave unless there are lots of other people gathering seeds outside in the furbolg camp... The ones in the cave are hard to spot, and way fewer. You can easily find all you need outside in a minute.

To make this quest significantly easier, kill a Frostpaw mob so that you gain the "Redfang Ally" buff.

You definitely want to take down the Frostpaw furbolgs. The sapling and the seeds are within the Redfang held territory. I was pleasantly surprised that torching their sapling didn't turn the Redfang's into aggro.

The seeds for this quest can be found in the "fortress" area outside the opening. Their appearance is kind of a mutation between acorns and pinecones. The bags found in the area have nothing to do with this quest.

For those of you doing both quests at same time,if you can fly,you can go straight down trunk and burn the sapling.

If not,when you get to Grizzle,the redfangs will be hostile.Kill a few of the frostpaws,the reds will turn neutral,can walk down with no aggro.

Killing one side or the other changes either from neutral to hostile.as for the seeds,they are the bags outside.got 7 right away,been waiting 20 minutes for another to spawn.

I got bored grinding frostpaws while waiting for the seeds to show up again in the fortress, so I explored a bit...there's also some in the tree on the ramps, and some in the tree-cave thing looks like.

Hierophant Thayreen at Amberpine Lodge wants you to go to Grizzlemaw and obtain 8 of Vordrassil's Seeds.
