I thought these were just useless things added to the game to make the game more realalistic but i made a rogue and she was a skinner/leatherworker and i come to find out...thier useful. I have never seen a fawn drop a light leather but if you're a skinner these arn't a waste at lyk lvl 1-20. Hope this helped :D

Hmmm, strange they really have "1 Health ? " i guess, i suppose eh...these fawn's can be found usally by the "Deers" the bigger ones, yes its there mom but lol wow it dropped a light leather

If you /love this critter, it adds towards one of the new Wrath of the Lich King Achievements called "To all the squirrels I've loved before".

I found mine at the node shown at 56, 74. There were several deer there together, and the fawn following a regular Deer, though the pair stayed at that spot for the 5 minutes or so that I was there.

This inf. has got to be wrong i went everywhere in Elwynn Forest and did not see or was able to target a Fawn. I spent the better part of my day here thinking well maybe someone killed them and would wait for respawns. But when i went around again i still found nothing.

I think they randomly spawn with the deer that roam around... I went to the 77,70 point and only saw a deer at first. I looked away for a second and as soon as I looked back back there was a fawn following it around. :)

Cripes it was hard to find one. They occasionally follow a deer but I just spent 20mins looking.

yeah, looks like ultra-rare add-spawn to Deer. from 56,74 to 65,77 near the road there are plenty of mindless deers waiting for your ax... i mean love.

There is Fawn spawns inside The Culling of Stratholme (The "Old Stratholme") instance in Caverns of Time

I saw a couple of these with a herd of running deer just south of Conquest Hold in Grizzly hills. Only seen them that one time though.

Confirmed Grizzly Hills around 19,73. They spawn only for a few seconds and then despawn. They are all around that area though so you dont have to wait long, just be fast. Took me 3 tries to finally get it.

I recommend a macro:

/tar fawn
/love

Forget Elwynn forest, Grizzly Hills is definitely the place to love up some fawns. There's a small herd that seems to loop around - I caught them at 17.73, but they were running around for quite awhile and yep....just checked..they're still there running around as I type this.
Easy to spot as the herd is about 6 or 7 in number - but they are fast - /tar fawn /love was very helpful.

An easy place to find these is in the Culling of Stratholme run out in the woods after the inn.

After about 20mins of running around, I found one at the 77,70 node. I must have checked my marco 5 or 6 times to make sure I'd not spelled 'fawn' wrong or something. Got my hopes up too often when I saw a deer in the distance and thought it was a fawn *sigh*.

Anyway, it seems the deer are going to become an extinct species considering there are barely a handful of these things running around. I suppose me killing the fawn I eventually found doesn't help.

Took about 5 minutes to find the group running around GH. Also had a mouse with them for the pest control achievement.

I wandered for an undetermined amount of time, checked all of the above listed locations, and didn't find a single fawn! Finally, I randomly wandered off road and found a fawn following a deer @ 65, 77 near Brackwell Pumpkin Patch. Happy hunting (I mean loving ;p )

For some reason these little Fawns have a whopping 8 HP, while the older Deer that they follow around have a paltry 1 HP.

Use the circled loc on the map, kill the rabbit and the cow and the fawn will spawn by the deer. :)
