Yesterday, we discovered two new Rygelon achievements on the Dragonflight PTR, which have now been decrypted on live servers.
Siamo tutti polvere di stelle (Eroica)
and
Siamo tutti polvere di stelle (Mitica)
are Heroic and Mythic versions of
Rygelon's part of the meta achievement
, requiring raid groups to defeat the boss Ironman-style, with no deaths and dealing with extra mechanics throughout the encounter. Although these are hidden achievements, they can be tracked using in-game scripts, such as
/script AddTrackedAchievement(15469)
, and unlike the normal version, they are also time-limited - with additional text indicating they will no longer be available in Dragonflight.
While the normal mode version can be challenging enough, the Heroic and Mythic versions add quite a bit more difficulty, as the extra mechanics on top of the bosses' Heroic and Mythic changes can quickly become overwhelming. There is a bit of silver lining though, as the achievements do not appear to require they be completed on Fated difficulty, so players can gain a bit of an advantage by fighting the Season 3 version of the encounter while using Season 4 gear. Unlike other
Immortal achievements of the past
, these also do not need to be completed on the first attempt, so players are free to fail and retry as many times as needed until they get it right.
To start the achievement, players need to be standing in these locations when the boss is pulled in order to gain the
Alfiere del Cosmo
debuff.
For those who haven't done the original achievement yet, the mechanics themselves are fairly simple, but very deadly - the hard part is that everyone must stay alive throughout the encounter or else the entire raid fails.
All players must begin the encounter standing on marked locations throughout the room in order to gain the
Alfiere del Cosmo
debuff, giving them a cosmic appearance and a 20% movement speed boost.
In addition to all of the bosses other mechanics, there will be three new attacks to deal with throughout the encounter:
In Phase 1,
Bombardamento Cosmico
will target random spots on the floor, indicated by small purple swirls.
Also in Phase 1,
Stella Cadente
will target a much larger area on the ground and knock back players based on how close they are - be very careful to ensure you aren't knocked off the platform!
In Phase 2,
Aggregato di Gravitoni
will instead pull players towards the ground effect.
You can also see these effects in action, courtesy of Lady Ket Gaming on Youtube.
There's no information on whether there will be any specific rewards for completing these achievements, or if they're just bragging points for perfectionists, but we're excited to see players tackle this brand new challenge!
