Method also attended the event
and had this to share on the underwater boss:
The underwater boss was discussed first: it is a stationary boss that moves to different static positions in the room where you will have to follow it around near platforms on which you could rest when needed.
We're also quite interested in Lady Priscilla Ashvane, as she was formerly trying to overthrow Katherine Proudmoore in Kul Tiras in 8.0, then appeared to broker a deal with Sylvanas in Patch 8.1. What is she doing helping Azshara? Was she always a secret agent, trying to create chaos on both sides? In today's presentation, we learned that Sylvanas sends Nathanos on an important mission, learning about something important in the ocean...so the Alliance follows...but it ends in a trap set by Queen Azshara. Did Ashvane plant the trap, telling Sylvanas false information to lure the Horde into the waters?
Very early in the BFA alpha, Ashvane was the
final boss of Siege of Boralus
, controlling a Kraken and working with Queen Azshara in the datamined line "Queen Azshara, I implore you. Grant me the power to bring Boralus to its knees!"
In addition,
WoWChakra
had this
very
interesting detail on Azshara gleaned from their trip, which supports
our theory
that N'Zoth and Azshara will turn on each other:
Azshara is not a servant of the Old Gods, and she believes she does not need their help to fight against us.
Azshara is convinced of her might when she attacks us, but we show her she's wrong by attacking the heart of her kingdom.
