This weapon's iLevel is 35, so it should be able to be enchanted with BC enchants, such as Mongoose.

ive been trying to get this since i was 28 (30 now) and have had no luck. Ive done it 12 times but no dagger. today im having a bunch of 60s run me through till i get the damn dagger because im sick of this instance and everything about it.

Nice dps for a rouge and fairly easy to get as lvl 30 compared to other daggers, but the stats sux for a rogue. Very nice for a lock or a priest though .. (dunno if mages can use daggers) so it will always be conflicts within the party if this sweetie drops.

I have a hunter and i find it more rewarding to focus on Agility wich not only enhance Ranged attack-power but also armour chance to dodge and
Chance to get a critical strike

Myself (lvl 30 gnome rogue) and a buddy of mine (lvl 37 NE rogue) tried to solo this guy. We sneaked past most mobs but had 2 kill some. and finally after using many vanish ^^ we got to his "gate". then we killed one "gate holder" each and when the 3 guarding mobs began chopping away at us we vanished. Then we put on poisons, "buffs"(well fed)^^ etc. Anyway. he did the frist ambush. then I did mine. we used evasion,potions,vanish and all we could. but like earlier said when he goes berserk 1 hit is enough almost :S anyway, we got him down to 14% and then both wiped :/. abit too hard for the 2 of us. but with another rogue I think it can be done :) ! so If u are my lvl take a 60 or something and go slay him. we R gonna try again tomorrow :P

K in my main hand I have the Swinetusk and in the off hand i hold the Zealot blade with fiery its the best combo i take down 39s with it in wsg its a thing of beautiful, and if u have duel weilding crusaders with it is even better.

iv gone through with 60 pally and then with two 51 and 53 warriors and it wont drop.......id like it i still have cruel barb from deadmines and then toxic revenger and id like another dag....any hints tips would be appreciated

This is a total shaman/rogue wep sence of the dps and sence warriors get whirlwind and hunters need agility before dps
To the mage lock or priest that would need this item i have one thing to say: gtfo You get alot more from either staff or dagger from sml (https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/item=7713/illusionary-rod https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/item=7714/hypnotic-blade)

yep.. i ran this quest as a 28 rogue, and it dropped on the first time.
but some noob lvl 29 warlock chose need, and won it over me after i ran SFK 10 times the other night looking for an assassin's blade! i just keep getting screwed looking for a good dagger.

I don't know what the fuss is about Warriors taking this dagger. =O

For a Fury spec'd Warrior, this is a great off hand because it's fast enough to generate that rage for your super slow main hand.

It's also a great tanking weapon for the lowbie Warriors because again, it's fast enough to generate the rage for all the sunders and other nifty things required for good tanking. (Unless you're one of those stupid Warriors who thinks they can tank with their two hander.)

Granted, Arms Warriors should not roll on this, but.. duh?

It is a Melee weapon, and Warriors are Melee DPS/Tank hybrids.

Ran rfk with my 32 tauren warrior and picked this up. i have the WSG reward sword in MH and this in off hand. i put out some gr8 dps with 18 pts in arms for impale / deep wounds and the rest in fury. offhand specialization should make this baby shine, but by then ill prolly have something different.

i actually use it to tank with...has stamina on it and my unbridled gives me xtra rage with a faster wepon. some may say its 2 fast to tank with but i do just fine with it.

im a priest with meditation..need all the spirit i can get my hands on. Worth rolling for imo and everyone else in my party was cool with that. If you rogue got angry at us squishies rolling for that then u understand when rogues out roll us for the hypnotic blade.

The rolling system, when used in conjunction with a basic set of ethics, is meant to give every player a FAIR chance at getting a drop.

OK i understand resentment for "ninja's", or people who roll NEED without thinking... but some people are just inconsiderate! This is a public game. If you aren't with a guildie, you're taking a risk. Set an example for others and LEARN2PLAY WITHOUT whining like a b*tch.

Been through RFK a good 8 times now, all that king piggy wants to drop are those damn leggings!

They dropped every single time I went there with my other warrior.

I think I'll just move on; my Black Knight and Meteor Shard aren't quite obsolete yet =P

Just about anyone could roll on this; has "caster" stats (sta and spirit are for casters now?) and good dps for melee, so I dont think anyone can really gripe, unless of course you get ninja'd =( In that case, get justice hehe.

dropped my 2nd time through RFk. 60 was guiding me, so my shammy is using it with Marbled Buckler now. Great combination!

The problem with this is that first, it's a dagger. Second, it has stam/spirit. That means the fact that it's a dagger will appeal to warriors/rogues/druids, and the fact that it has stam and spirit will appeal to priests/locks/mages/warriors/shammies. So when one of them fails to get this weapon and another class outrolls them, they instantly blind themselves to why the other class would roll, come here, and start crying.

So please, stop, take a minute, and realize you aren't the only one in your group.

they let me, a warlock roll on it against a rogue. I won it, but have no use for it because my staff is much better than this lol. The only time id use this is if i win the bid on sanguine star in the AH today

To sum this up...

This dagger would benefit a subtlety/assassination/backstabbing rogue most... 24 - 45 damage.

Of course all classes can use the stam, or course all classes can use the spirit.. but a Subtlety Rogue ONLY uses DAGGERS.. and DOES NOT rely on MAGIC to deal damage. A backstabbing rogue relies on his DAGGERS.

This has good max damage.. 45.. so all of a rogues abilities will benefit.

If a priest.. druid...w/e wants this... i don't blame them.. but if i were running on my priest/lock/w/e .. i'd certainly let the rogue snatch it.. as he will get much greater use of it than i would on my mage/hunter/warrior/ w/e ...

Don't understand why greedy bastards don't stop to think .. "hmm.. i'm a fury warrior..i could go with axes, swords, maces and be set... maybe i'll let this rogue who really needs this weapon have it" .. it's a community people... u don't die with your riches

I'm a rogue too. Level 30 at the moment. At least a warrior could put it to use... My group had a priest and a warlock that wanted to roll for it! Can you believe that?

I told them it was more improtant to a rogue. They got mad and left. But at least they didn't ninja it.

FYI, It looks pretty cool. It does not look like a tusk. It looks like a dagger.

i have this weapon in my main hand and a slower sword in my off hand, and let me tell you, this this attacks so fast that i rarely see and attack with my sword. im a hunter btw and this is a good weapon for me

Mmm, I love it when a friggen druid outrolls me on awesome weapons.

His reasoning for rolling need when everyone else passed? "Sorry, I forgot you're a rogue" then he proceeded to hearth out because he said he had to leave, so then I did cuz I was pissed, went on questing with a friend for a few hours, /who'ing that druid from time to time. Yeah, he never logged.

i think everyone should take into account the weapon b4 the other stats, its a great dagger so who ever uses daggers the most should be the first to roll, then maybe someone who wants it just for the spirit or stam, by weapon i mean damage and delay

Do you think I could solo RFK with a 32 Rogue? He's wielding a +3 damage enchanted Silverblade, and a Stonevault Shiv (also enchanted), plus his armor is pretty good as well. What level would you reccommend?

Were in RFK tonight with my friend and that dropped at second time we killed it. He didnt roll so i got is. Im lvl 31 so that dagger is pretty good

It doesn't look cool at all, but I like it on my 33 rogue at the moment because:
-It drops easily
-It has better DPS than anything I can buy that's not really expensive
-It's fast, great for stacking Deadly Poison

This dagger is great, especially when grouping with a good healer and you're going for crazy DPS with poisons.

I have this on my 36 rogue(got it a couple of levels ago) and I love it. It looks cool, the +6 stamina is nice, and also I only have two blues(this and the Nightstalker bow). Took me three times to finally get it. After the second time I started wanting it simply for the satisfaction of getting something that has evaded me before. In a few levels I'll definitely get something better but as for right now I loving this thing. I might also try to get it with some of my caster classes.

I think some people need to realize that some weapons have a wide range of classes that can and will use it. Personally I'm going to Need on any weapon that I can use and that will be helpful to me no matter who else is in the group. If I find a bow that is better then the one I have I'm gonna need on it even if a hunter is in the group. I use bows to afterall. I need em for pulling when stealth is to dangerous and for stat boosts. Just because your class has more of an association with a weapon doesn't mean you deserve it more then other people who use that weapon.
