Confirmed. Learnt this on my first Northrend research session. With the over-inflated prices for herbs at the moment, I was hoping for the Crazy Alchemist Potion so I could level up at a reduced cost! ;op

Something interesting to note, I just discovered this using Northrend Alchemy Research for the first time at an Alchemy skill level of 400 (401 after creating the Alchemy Research). It's currently orange and stayed orange until 415, as Wowhead shows it. Most guides I have read so far have suggested to make Elixir of Mighty Agility from 400-405 which is a yellow recipe. Making the Lightning Speed is a nice alternative with guaranteed skill ups. I also have an abundance of Crystallized Life from herbing and was able to skill up from 401-415 on this recipe quite easily. It will be interesting to see if there are any other discovered recipes like this that might make skilling up Alchemy even cheaper by bypassing some green recipes.

As of Patch 3.2, Mixology now provides a larger bonus: 65 haste rating instead of 61.
