I think they forgot to look at their own talent tree design with this one, I mean we have talents to increase our energy regen and a we have combat potency, whats 20 energy, 1 attack and a half a second to 2 seconds tops, duration increase or cooldown reduction would be better imo on this item

During a 6 minute boss fight you can use blade flurry 4 times. Using this glyph will save you 100 energy, which is 2½ sinister strikes. Assuming you are fully raid buffed and your sinister strikes crit on average for 4000...

10000 / 360 = ~27.7 dps if your sinister strikes crit.

5000 / 360 = ~13.8 dps if they do not.

If the fight is shorter it becomes much worse. Don't bother with this glyph, it's terrible compared to the other ones available.

Although many people are saying this Glyph is useless, keep in mind that it depends on what spec you are.

Combat specs do not need the Slice and Dice Glyph as much as other raiding specs due to the fact that SnD, without the Glyph, already has a 100% uptime.

So basically, a combat-spec raiding rogue might as well use this Glyph as well as the SS and rupture, as the DPS increase from the SnD Glyph is minimal if any.

Looks like a PvP glyph to me, for free burst that doesn't drain your bar of a quick reaction kick or stun. It obviously has no use in a sustained fight.

Actually, energy is not as much a problem with BF as global cooldown is. Most of the time you activate BF right in front of the enemy, along with 1-2 additional abilities (Adrenaline Rush comes to mind). Adding GCD trigger removal would make this glyph worthwhile.

the purpose of this glyph is to give you more energy while BF itself is active. do not understand it to be +25 energy every 2 minutes, but rather like this:

when you activate BF, you will regenerate 150 energy while the buff is active. without the glyph, you will only have 125 energy. so what this really does is let you make more use of the time when you are hitting two targets.
