Finally, the worst offender, is that whenever you mine up a jewel of some kind, it won't even fit in the bag you got for the purposes of mining. Defeating the purpose of holding all the small items you get from mining

I thought of the same thing when i first thought about changing from a Mining Sack toa reinforced Mining Bag.

For some time i wondered why the Gems did not fit into the Mining bag when essentially Miners got gems from Mineral Nodes.

It seemed to make perfect sense that they should fit into the Mining bag but then i remembered there is a Bag of Jewels

It would make sense for gems to fit into both the minign bag and also the gem bag but if Blizzard were to do that then that opens a whole of more arguments about Reagents used by multiple professions that only fit into one bag that i assume they want to avoid.

There will be 32-slot bags for at least Enchanting (Mysterious Bag) and Inscription (Pack of Endless Pockets).

These aren't really designed for carrying around with you as you mine. They're designed for tossing in your bank and storing ridiculous amounts of metal in. If you think about them in that context, 32 slots is a perfectly reasonable number (for certain definitions of reasonable, at least.)

In beta when I go on mining trips, I carry this bag with me, as well as my JC bag. You get insane amounts of ore because Blizzard has changed to the philosophy of abundance rather than scarcity.

Everyone will have a lot of everything.

i just, use this thing all the time
as it holds all the "primals" exept life
and then i do get large amounts of ore quickly,

these are meant for the bank, it's good to get a cheap bag with a lot of space to hold all your supplies...

Cheaper to get mats then buy this from AH, All you need is to get Heavy Borean Leather x8.
And find Leatherworker who is Honored with Sons of Hodir(Or how was they called)

And in end you save up around 150G, becouse those mats are alot cheaper in AH then bag ;)

Why is there no bag for Tailors?

A tailoring bag would be nice for the endless amount of cloth we are carrying...

its kind of ironic that the tailor can craft bag for other professions, but not for tailors.

These take ludicrous amounts of nearly every type of mining related goodies. 32 sweet slots.. for nearly free. I'm not complaining. These really ease the burden in my bank.

Is a mining/gem/herb etc bag able to sit inside one of my other bags and still hold items?

Joking aside, if we could put full bags inside other bags there would be no need for banks. Everyone could carry an infinite number of items as the bags inside the bags could have bags in them. And nobody would be able to find anything they were carrying, because they would have to remember which one of their five million bags it was in.

For all the LW's out there in the small - medium pop servers that are looking to make a little gold quickly, it would benefit you to do the quest chain from the Son's of Hodir for faction.

Picking up this pattern from them doesn't take to long. The mats are not only cheap, but usually easily obtained if your a skinner. You can easily sell these for 50-150 gold. A lot of standard LW do not carry this pattern with them so having it will corner the market a bit.

200g for something that costs only 8 heavy borean leather to make sounds pretty expensive and unreasonable, but you have to take into consideration the effort needed to get the pattern.

The pattern is only sold by the Sons of H rep and like most reps, it takes a long quest chain to even get started working the rep.

First off, you need to ding 77 and get your cold weather flying to even hope to start the chain.

Next you head to K3 and begin a 20-odd quest chain that starts with They Took Our Men.

Once you've completed all of that, you can finally start grinding Sons of H rep from neutral.

Problem is that they've only got a handful of quests and those quests will bring you maybe 1-2k into friendly - after that you can only do three dailies worth 250 rep each to get to honored (6 days worth of dailies if memory serves), at which point you ding honored and can buy the pattern.

So you aren't paying 200g for 8 peices of leather, you're paying 200g for the fact that anyone who wants to make this bag has to knock out 30+ quests and 6 days of dailies to get the pattern.

This bag does not hold gems unfortunately(even tho you mine them?) it holds all the eternals and crystallized tho.thought i would let anyone know that wanted to try and use it for storing jewels it is a waste of gold or leather.
