Available in patch 2.3, this will be a cheap, easy-crafted quiver. Arrakoa feathers are very easy to grind, if a little slow. The other materials are laughable, so these will be very cheap to make, you may well be able to make a fair profit on the AH with any luck.

For the elite among you, https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/item=34105 is a cut above.

I´m not sure about this quiver being able to contain Enchanting Formulas and quest Items as Wowhead states on the "Can Contain" Tab.

To get this all you have to do is go to a LW trainer (1 is at HH) and train it.

This is a standard unique item. It's bind on equip. So you can populate the AH with these.

Up coming changes will make this item non-unique, which will sort out all yer woes ;-)

Clefthoof Hide Quiver rather useless.

Hopefully they will improve these rewards to a 22 slot quiver.

The mats for this quiver can easily be bought on AH for 30g at most. I sell about 1-2 quivers each day for 55g each which means I can almost double my money. It doesn't seem like many LWers craft this; there's virtually no competition on the servers I've been on.

I've probably made 500g at least over the past month on these alone. Knothide ammo pouches are equally as easy to craft but I average 1 sale every 2-3 days instead.

Hunter Leatherworkers be aware, when you make one of these for yourself, you will not be able to make another one. These are BoE and Unique, so you can't have more than one on you at a time and can't Auction or give away the one on you if it has been equipped. I'm going to assume the Knothide Ammo Pouch is the same way.

Since the last patch (1-8-2008) these are now not unique, so we can make others to sell.

You can learn this from the LW trainer in Thrallmar or Honor Hold in Hellfire Peninsula.

I just trained all the new patterns that were added in the 2.3 patch.

First oO!

Anyway, i had some problems making my mate one. But the GM gave me a really useful tip that i didnt think about and many of u might not either..

Since i'm a hunter myself i use the quiver. So when i was going to make one for my friend it said "You cannot carry anymore of those" Or something like it. So here's what to do : Go to a vendor and sell your Quiver, make your friends Quiver and give/sell it to him, and then just buyback the old one. Hope the tip will help for the other hunters that want to make some money making them :)

well damn im 62 lvl markma troll hunter but i need arrows mine is 16 placed and i use them for 5-7 quest and ooa an d with this baby i have bonus 800 arrows nice thing also same ranged speed ^^

I think the Knothide Quiver and Knothide Ammo Pouch would have to be the stupidest idea to be set to level 60 requirement.

You have a crafted lvl 60 item that holds 20 stacks.

Then you have multiple Rep. based items that are 18 slot that require level 68, also another hunter quest item that is 18 slot with a lvl 60 requirement.

Both of these items should either have a level 70 requirement or a lower attack speed boost.

If you want a better quiver or pouch at lvl 70 buy the Netherscale Ammo Pouch or Quiver of a Thousand Arrows, don't make other items completely superfluous. Good going Blizzard.

Oh, and yes I am a hunter, and a LW... I just get annoyed about stupid ideas of making other items completely useless.

Does anyone know where this comes from? My research shows it's taught by the LW trainer in Shattrath, but it's not in her list of things to learn. Maybe it's a release in a future patch?

I would not expect to see this before phase 4. This was originally added in patch 2.3.0 (Zul'Aman Patch). Though Blizzard can always decide to release it earlier
