Dropped from Warp Splinter in Botanica heroic.

For those don't want to run heroic, Purified Shadow Pearl (https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/spell=41429) is a nice alternative. Only lose 1 spirit.

Compared to other epic healing gems, this one is subpar. Not because it uses spirit, but because it only gives 9 healing while every other heroic drop healing gem gives 11 healing. Only worth taking if you're in the habit of using Purified Shadow Pearls already and want a slight upgrade.

But in my opinion, this gem is definitely not worth running heroic Botanica.

Wow...this is barely better than a purified shadow pearl which is barely better than a purified jaggal pearl. Who balances these things?

I think this gem will be a lot more useful in 2.4. Not only will you be able to use as many as you want (Right now it is "unique-equipped," but with the huge spirit buff it will actually make this gem more viable. I'm starting to farm Heroic Botanica early for this gem, looks like a very very good compliment to the new badge gear in 2.4.

This is a priest gem, considering their talent tree. It gives them about 10+ healing unbuffed and about 5 spirit, which correlates into a good deal of mana regen since 2.4.
