Well, it took my about 10 kills to get it...the drop rate seems a little off but not much.

I've been doing this quest for a few hours and it still hasn't dropped. Either the people above me are lucky, or I'm unlucky, so just be aware -- Like with any drop-related quest, your mileage may vary.

QUEST: The Stones of Vekh'nir

The drop rate on this thing can be stupidly rare. Go to Veil Vekh, just south of Mok'Nathal, and slay every Vekh'nir you come across and pray for it to drop. Give the hour or so I looked for it, I would say the drop rate on this is probably 1% or I am just hated by Blizzard. Hope you have better luck.

Anyway, I finally got one off a Vekh'nir Matriarch that randomly roams around the camp and is on a different spawn timer.

Not to hard to kill but does cast Impending Doom, which does 2500 Shadow Damage. So make sure you interrupt that one if you see it come across the casting bar.

Good Luck on finding this and don't give up, it takes a while but you get some decent cash and Netherweave Cloth drops, and the experience from farming this is decent.

I just did this and got it on the 10th mob. I was getting pissed that it wasn't dropping. Then it finally did! wooo.

I got it on the first kill. I read about others getting fast drops on Keeneyes. I went to 77,77 and killed one keeneyes and it dropped.

is this quest bugged? I had like 3 drops, but every time I head to the spell circle and imbue it, the item completely dissapears, my quest isn't completed and nothing is added in my backpack.

n/m..the quest does not show that it was completed for me but when I went back to the npc i was able to turn it in

Got it as the first drop off a Vekh'nir Keeneye.

It's probably just luck then.

Yey:) Dropped on my first kill. and i also got it on my second kill lol, im pretty lucky or blizzard have maked it to atleast 80%

Got the crystal on my 4th Keeneye. I think keeneye got best drop rate so go for them.

Wow, I was expecting a nice long grinding session, but it dropped off the first mob I killed. It was one of the keeneyes.

Got the crytal to drop on my first kill. I feel bad for those of you who had it take hours.
