These put two buffs on you: "food" and "underspore pod". Food will regen health; underspore pod, mana. Any other food/drink buffs will overwrite these (or give you a "a more powerful spell is already active" error), so despite the pods regenerating both health and mana, they don't stack with any other food or drink effects.

Is the iLevel of this really 100?

That would make it the perfect free food for pets who like fruit even at level 80.

As a paladin who is usually holy but often respecs to prot/ret for various groups or undertakings, I still find these very useful. As prot and ret (who don't want any int on their gear) they still provide *enough* mana regen should I need to have a drink. Very useful for soloing BC heroics, old raids and having a bit of downtime in a Wrath heroic.

Of course, however, they're garbage for holy. ^^

If you're a hunter with a pet that eats fruit, this is in essence free pet food for life.

coolest thing for a hunter with a bear. I no longer have to gather food to feed my bear. The Underspore Frond has cool down of 12 hours but it is good enough for me to make enough dunderspore for my bear. I gear a boar can eat this too.

There are other non-conjured items that gives both mana and health. The best are the ones that restore 5% over 20 seconds. For those of you who don't want to do the math, that means you get full health and mana in less time.
They are:
Hot Buttered Trout
Naaru Ration
Graccu's Mince Meat Fruitcake
That's all I can think of, but if you can think of more... please let me know

I can also post a full explaination of HOW exactly you get full health, as many don't believe so. It's a page filler though.
