I found it rather funny that, doing the pre-WotLK scourge invasion quests, you get scrolls in the mail directing you to three of the 5 NPCs that sell this item.

Confirmed today that this does NOT count towards the It's Happy Hour Somewhere achievement.

Strange, because the Friendship Bread sold by the same vendors for the same event DOES count towards the Tastes Like Chicken achievement.

Just for those who might be wondering, you can safely throw away the sealed research reports and still buy the bread/lemonade.

As of today - 11/15 - the Lemonade DID count toward my Achievement. (Watched it go from 17/25 to 18/25.)

I got a "Sealed Research Report" from the guy I turned some papers into at the Light's Hope Chapel.

This one talked about Reuben's Ex-Wife Joanna Whitehall in the UC War Quarter. I found her and she sells Freshly-Squeezed Lemonade and Friendship Bread.

Weird.

Along with the Friendship Bread, has a little shimmery effect when you start to eat it, and a little heart icon floats above your head while you do it.

indeed it is, after you read the report and go talk to the NPC it referes to, the NPS will let you buy these, along with friendship bread.
while aparently not doing anything other then regening your mana, this item has a unique FX when you drink it, one similat to the dispell.
