I collected Bone Fragments in order to obtain these. Running laps around Andorhal and weeding out the skeletons is an excellent way to get some quick. Also, don't be afraid to ask in General Chat if anyone has any. About 25% of the Fragments I got were given or sold to me.

do each of these quest once i want up half a lvl as a 56. All u need to do is buy the stuff if u have money. Easy as 1 2 3

Insignia's come from doing odd (repeatable) jobs for The Scarlet Crusade.

NPCs at Light's Hope Chapel.

Korfax, Champion of the Light - gives Insignia of the Dawn for 30 Dark Iron Scraps - drop from "creatures in the Burning Steppes and Searing Gorge" and also in "the dungeons of Blackrock Spire and Blackrock Depths."

Huntsman Leopold - gives Insignia of the Crusade for 30 Crypt Fiend parts - drop from crypt fiends (the spider-like undead) "around Plaguewood and Terrordale, with a good concentration of them in the Terrorweb tunnel", "almost any Scourge encampment in the Eastern Plaguelands" and "a good lot of them in Stratholme, and a few of the necrofiend variety in Scholomance."

Rohan the Assassin - gives Insignia of the Crusade for 30 Bone Fragments - drop from "skeletal creatures all over both the Western and Eastern Plaguelands", and also "Stratholme and Scholomance are definitely the place to be for bone fragments."

Archmage Angela Dosantos - gives Insignia of the Dawn for 30 Core of Elements - drop from "elementals here in the Plaguelands, Azshara, Burning Steppes, Felwood, Silithus, Winterspring, and even Un'goro Crater", also "a great many elemental aberrations" exist in Dire Maul, and also seek out "the elementals employed by the Dark Iron dwarves of Blackrock Depths."

Rayne - gives Insignia of the Dawn or Insignia of the Crusade for 30 Savage Fronds - drop from "Felwood's treants and Un'goro's lashers", and also in "the eastern and western wings of Dire Maul".

Additionally, you can do tradeskill turnins. One Argent Dawn Valor Token gets you a random tradeskill writ, which spells out a turnin for either an Insignia of the Dawn or Insignia of the Crusade.

Well, there does not seem to be much point, for most people. The items are worthless compared to greens that drop in Outland; the supply bag is 18 slots, and can be made easily and cheaply by tailors now; even the shoulder enchants (which require valor tokens, not insignias) are obsolete, thanks to "inscriptions". What does that leave?

It leaves numerous trade skill recipes that cannot be obtained any other way, true, but insignias are not needed for these, just AD rep. The only unique thing I can see that can ONLY be obtained using insignias is the two +10 resistance enchants that can be applied to headgear (one for frost, one for shadow) offered by Mataus the Wrathcaster at LHC; either requires 30G and 10 Insignia of the Crusade. There do not - as far as I can determine - appear to be any headgear enchants included in BC, so if you're serious about maxing out every single piece of gear in your inventory, then headgear can only be boosted by cashing in a libram to get an arcanum (leatherworkers can now craft better legwear kits than librams offer), or by using Insignias of the Crusade for resistance. Either is pretty expensive, and it's sort of hard to see what difference +10 shadow resistance will make to a L70 toon, but it is better than nothing if you have the disposable income - otherwise, your headgear is a slot with no enchants at all.

Yes blizzard did rather kill off most of the previous games high level content with the release of the burning crusade... who is going to ^&* around rep mining for the argent dawn now? Noone!

I personally am going to finish getting exalted rep with ZG and Exalted with Argent Dawn (Revered now) because my twink can use the +30 Attack Power enchant to shoulders (whichs is BOP) but the shoulders are BOE, kinda the same principle as the clefthide armor kits. And get +10 Resistances head enchant. Already have all the gear and enchants, but I feel twinks are the only real reason anyone takes 1-60 content into consideration.

Otherwise, it might be worth doing the 30 collection quests by using your main to buy 30 bone scraps, crypstalker parts and core of elements at AH and mailing them to your twink at Light's Hope chapel. Each quest gives in the neighborhood of 6K XP on first turn in. Not much point in doing any of these faction grinds if you're planning on doing end game content at 70.

Sadly, when the level cap goes to 80, same will probably be true for all the rep grinding in outland as the enchants and crafted items will be surpassed by green drops in the first zone.

People still like doing Nax... its fun. When its lvl 80 cap people might have some fun 5 -maning Kel'thuzad and such like. Probably a bit ambitious but some nutters will probably manage it

So turning in the quests for the Insignia of the Dawn and Insignia of the Crusade gives you 50 Argent Dawn rep for each turnin. For the friendly 'Epic Rewards' quest you need 110 of each, earning at least 2*110*50 = 11000 rep with Argent Dawn from the turnins, which will put you somewhere into Revered.

I turned in 30 bone fragments to the guy in LHC and only got 10 rep not 50. Must be a limitation from the last patch.

So, the only thing these insignias are good for is to save up and buy armor/weapons?

well, its all over now, AD is a dead-end faction linked to the dead-end lv 60 instances of the game... no1 does lv 60 instances and no1 does AD quests...
all give it up to blizz for buring the lv 60 instances with TBC addon...

In case someone else is silly like me, and doesn't notice above where it says "Used in Quests", ... these are meant to be saved, gathered, and turned in for various quests. :)

I wouldn't call the Argent Dawn dead just yet. The Wraith of the Lich King Expansion might bring new life to the so-called dead rep group, going to a continent owned by the King of the Scourge. I think that might bring the Dawn back into the game big time.

These quests were added at prepatch for P6 if it's not relevant to you for WHATEVER reason STOP commenting on it. Find another stress reliever that doesnt affect others in a negative way at least ffs. That being said, SC a rep faction you can lvl up? I've done all these but not seeing it on my rep factions list
