Just be aware you can't cast spells in this form...effectively silenced till cancelled.

If used on people who are mounted, the person will stay mounted and turned into a bat at the same time, effectively flying above the mount.

Also It's funny to use enchanting in this form, the glow appears on the bat's arms but because it doesn't have an animation for that it just freezes with the glow :D

A little, somewhat useless tip... do NOT use this on a warlock who just used Demon Form. A friend and I were doing Stratholme together, and I decided to put the bat costume on him as a joke... however, right before it was done casting he used Meta. Then all of a sudden he was a bat. When he removed the bat costume a second later, he was not a demon. Needless to say he wasn't too happy about that.

Is there any way you can tell who cast the costume on you? Also I see it says Targeted Party member. So basically in your party. What about raid members.

I am trying to find the dumbass who cast this on me during a boss fight.

If you use the wand while the target is mounting (mounting, not mounted), the transformation will stay on the target even while mounted.
And in case of Bat, the target will be incredibly small!

Applies to all wands.

Using this or any other Hallow's End wand will flag you for PvP if the target is flagged for PvP.

If you have this costume active while at the Argent Tournament in Icecrown, and can get on one of the mount vehicles, you can enter mounted combat with someone else or one of the NPCs without losing the costume.

Though I wouldn't advise trying this while fighting the scourge outside the Citadel for the dailies there, you would likely get your bat brain smashed in if you got knocked off your mount.

You get it on halloween, You go to a inkeeper and say Trick Or Treat and u get a little bag. Open the bag and there's a 3% chance that u getthis one. GL got mine today :D

It's pretty cool turning into a bat... but this thing silences you so no casting, that includes, spells, hunter abilities such as fd mend pet and rezz pet, anything classified as a spell really.

they can't use staffs, wands, most sheilds I THINK, and some other stuff.

yes, hunters can use almost evry weapon in the game exept maces and wands... but this is no wand, you use it like any other item that stays in your bag and is not acctually equipped, like the kodo brander and other stuff, so yes hunters can use this!

Omg Hunters can use alot of weps but warriors can use even more.
Warriors can use every weapon Except wands. Thats more then hunters -_-'

lol, here we go with the hunter arguement under an item that has no special reference to hunters. Hunters rock! %^&*!@#s dont. end of story.....
anyways, using this makes your friend look pretty awesome
