Is there any plans to allow the mouseover to work on more than just text? Currently when I use the mouseover with an image between the link it does not work. I could work around this but I am not sure its worth the effort since looking at the .js it should be a fairly simple change.

Very nice job.
I wanted to add a How to guide for Nuke-Evolution:
Open includes/javascript.php. Find ?> and above that put this line.
// WOW tooltip
echo "<script src=\"
http://www.cuckhead.com/widgets/power.js
\"></script>";
Save and upload, this will work with all your pages.

I set this up on my Drupal 4.6.X guild site and it worked well, except for some reason anyone using Internet Explorer 6 error gets a "cannot open page" error when it is accessed. I removed the script reference and the site works fine again for IE6 users also. There were no errors with Firefox or IE7. When I set it up it just went into the <head> section of the template. Has anyone else seen this issue or know what causes it / how to fix it?
thanks

I got solution for using Horris script in phpBB2. With this script you can use following bbcode with tooltip, URL and item quality color:
Megaepic
So, follow this steps:
1. Download phpBB Wowhead mod by Horris
http://mattmayers.com/download/phpBB_wowhead_mod.zip
2. Then, unzip and copy the whole wow/ directory to the root directory of your phpBB install.
3. Next, for every template you want this to work with you have to edit the overall_header.html file and add the following lines right before the </head> tag...
<script src="
http://www.cuckhead.com/widgets/power.js"></script>
<script src="wow/jquery-1.2.1.js"></script>
<script src="wow/wowhead_linker.js"></script>
4. Open /forum/templates/YourOwnTemplate/bbcode.tpl
Add this in the bottom of the file:
<!-- BEGIN wow --><a href="wow/wowhead_wrapper.php?item={TEXT}" class="wowhead">{TEXT}</a><!-- END wow -->
5. Open /forum/includes/bbcode.php
* Find this line:
$bbcode_tpl = str_replace('{EMAIL}', '\\1', $bbcode_tpl);
and insert these line after it:
$bbcode_tpl = str_replace('{TEXT}', '\\1', $bbcode_tpl);
* Find this line:
$replacements;
and insert these lines after it:
// text
$patterns(.*?)\#is";
$replacements;
DONE! )
This is compilation and modification of posts wrote by Kalroth and by Horris. But i still have problem with white font of common items, how to resolve it - i dont know right now)
Still having the damndest time getting this cuckhead.com mod to work on my phpBB2 install.
I get an error in my bbode.php include. :(

Have you tried
document.write('<script src="
http://www.cuckhead.com/widgets/power.js"></scr'
+ 'ipt>');? Works for me on a MediaWiki installation. Are you adding it to a .js page, or just any random page?
I'm not sure I follow. I've added the script include link to the main index page on the site that gets loaded with everything.
</head>
<script src="
http://www.cuckhead.com/widgets/power.js"></script>
<body class="mediawiki ns-0 ltr page-Main_Page">

Thanks for the compiled PhPBB2 Step By Step tutorial. I forgot the .tpl edit when looking at the latter ones and it resulted in an empty spot where I tried to use WoW /WoW.
Now, any ETA on when spellsupport is added in the script? One way to make it work is that if the script doesn't find any match at ?item= it would use ?spell= or even ?search= and take the closest match.
Possible work-around?

There is a way but it requires some modifications on the javascript file.

Nothing new to the e107 system because I haven't found the time to take a look at it :(
Edit: Ohh .. and happy new year! Time for the Character Profiler, isn't it? :P

You can realize this with writing a small modification for your message board. But this will require some skills in programming (basicaly sockets and xml-parsing with php, asp or java). I do no have the time to realize this for any message board, I'm busy enough with m own projects. Sorry for that.
There is the parsing used by Itemstats... maybe someone who knows could look it over and use it or modify it to work with wowhead. Last time I checked the maker of itemstats left its development... or i could say that he abandoned the itemstats project, or he said he would not give anymore support .... u get the picture.
I think that, since Itemstats script already parses quality colors into the link that it makes, that it should be key to making wowhead script whole as far as quality coloring goes. I do not know how they do it... but it works well for them... maybe a developer from here could grab an installation of itemstats and rip its secrets open !?

Now works with spells, too!

I've been trying this out on some pages that I made by exporting spreadsheets from Excel to HTML documents. For some reason the script won't work with links inside the tables. I've posted an example here:
http://ward.webruimtehosting.tv/Warrior19.htm
Notice the testlink I made outside the tables on the bottom left works just fine. What is it about the Excel tables that blocks the script and it is possible to fix it without manually transscribing all the data into normal tables?
