This is also a helpful world event to do for grinding reps if you're going for the mounts and don't have all the capital cities exalted yet. Each coin you collect gives you 75 rep for all horde factions, and there are only a few of these that are difficult to get. In about 3 hours of grinding them out, I was able to get 95% of the world ones done, and only have 5 dungeon ones left to do. So if you have several factions left to build up, this is more time-effective than grinding runecloth to one specific faction.

If you were to visit each Elder during the Lunar Festival, it rewards you with 75 Horde/Alliance rep per Elder.

Here is the breakdown of Elders:

Northrend: 18
Eastern Kingdoms: 17
Kalimdor: 21
Alliance: 3
Horde: 3
Dungeon: 13
Cataclysm: 9

Total: 84

At 75 Rep per, that means that if you visit each one, you will receive 6300 Horde/Alliance rep total. Not bad for a few hours running around.(##RESPBREAK##)2056##DELIM##adashiel##DELIM##

this is one of my favorite season events :) mainly because of the fireworks. us gnomes do like a good boom. and also because its the last season i need for my violet proto which is going to be my mount number #100. cant wait to get it.
