I'm having trouble understanding this boss fight.

I mean, shouldn't killing a dragon aspect cause the world to implode or something crazy like that?

its possible u wont "kill" him but merely defeat him, maybe knocking some sence back in him.

The title says Defeat but the Criteria says Malygos slain! but it is stil NYI so who knows it may still change again or be removed like some of the others have been.

Also, due to the sound files, Malygos does unfortunately die.

Yes but theres a chance blizz could change their mind at the last min, Illidan wasnt supposed to die originally he was supposed to flee and you looted something else. and notice it says DEFEAT malygos not kill. So we will just have to wait till its released, to know for sure.

Let's get this straight then..

Red Dragonflight - Alexstrazsa - Possible heir: Korialstrasz even though he's the consort of her.
Black Dragonflight - Neltharion - Possible heir: No idea actually because Nefarian is dead. Sabellian can be an alternative or the one we know as Lady Sinestra. Also as much as known of Neltharion's manners, he probably distrusts everyone but himself and plans to live forever =).
Green Dragonflight - Ysera - Possible heir: Eranikus was redeemed at last and he's the closest option.
Bronze Dragonflight - Nozdormu - Possible heir: Well it's been known that Anachronos is Nozdormu's heir.
Blue Dragonflight - Malygos - Possible heir: Since Malygos will definitely be slain, I guess Kalecgos will bear the Aspect title because of the so much lore invested on him. Tyrygosa can be another alternative.
