Saying the name out loud sounds a bit weird for me. I mean, I know the ability is called "Deep Breath," but wouldn't it sound better if the achievement was called "She Deep Breathes More?"

Back in Vanilla, people would claim she deep breaths more despite it being 100% random.

Also, in arguments when people claim something has changed (like a proc), people would say "Onyxia also deep breaths more", to prove something is random

It's not that difficult to move out of the deep breath now. My guild got this achievement yesterday. Her deep breath does not have a wide hit box like it use to. In order to avoid the deep breath, all you have to do is move to her sides. Not in front or behind her. However, since the hit box is not as big as it use to be, it isn't as critical that you get right next to her rib cage. You just have to be in the general area of her sides. Her deep breaths are random, so you just have to pay attention. We were surprised we got this on our first kill, as we thought a few of our memebers had been hit by deep breath. But alas, they had not!

I got this achievement in 10man. We burned her down in air phase, and she did not even get to do a Deep Breath. =)

If you burn her down fast enough, she won't get a chance to do deep breath

The easiest way to get this achievement is indeed to simply blast her to smithereens. Your average Colliseum-geared Ranged DPS will easily be able to burn her down from 60% to 40% with time to spare.

Did this again today with a stacked group and using a lust when she flew up. Got her down to phase 3 before the first Lair Guard even appeared. Not needed at all though, we just wanted to see how fast we could get it down (pretty damn fast by the way).

We've done this achievement twice this week when attempting the More Dots achievement. It is quite easy to do and is solely about positioning. On the first attempt she got one breath off and the second attempt didn't even manage a breath.

Generally her first breath will always be from the North West corner; so what we do is at phase 1 end; everyone continues to dps her until range becomes and issue and then the tank picks up the whelps.

All ranged stand in or near the NW corner and the Tank Melee in the middle/centre back. Burn those whelps down with aoe and all the ranged continue to dps on her. if a Lair guard comes out; let it run all the way to the back to the tank. Most likely it will ignite its weapon half way through but it will also lose 50% of its duration whilst running to you.

Tank taunts and melee / designated ranged dps burn down. If you are towards the edge of the wall and the back; the first breath won't hurt you which is usually the only breath you get. Otherwise quite simply make sure that the tank positions himself alongside where she so that she is not directly facing the tank and therefore no breaths should hit him/her.

All ranged dps just stay underneath her and no problem!

We failed this achieve today, noone (only 6 pets) took damage from Deep Breath, but 1 got full-resisted... So, mb resist fails achieve too..
