This is the Blizzon 2009 pet. As far as I know this is also offered up to those that buy the WebCast, a new stream that doesn't need a DirectTV subscription.

Also, as a touch of class, if someone pulls this pet out near the Vanilla WoW Classic edition Zergling pet, they dust off and get to to fightin'

It was quite nice I thought.

A Heavy Murloc Egg that teaches Grunty with this note appears in your ingame mailbox once you have redeemed your code.

In the FAQ says:
If I order the BlizzCon 2009 Pay Per View Internet stream, will I receive the BlizzCon-exclusive World of Warcraft in-game pet?

Yes, if you purchase the Pay Per View Internet stream, you will receive the BlizzCon 2009 exclusive pet, Grunty the Murloc Marine. An email containing a code for the pet and redemption instructions will be sent 6 to 8 weeks after the event.

I'll upload an image of me and my murloc in 6 to 8 weeks T.T

Was this given in person to attendees? I used the internet stream and am surprised to see there are already people in-game with Grunty; I can only assume they got it by actually being AT Blizzcon.

Characters which been created after the redemption will receive the ingame mail with the egg aswell.
