The Feral Defender spawns after 1 minute and begins the fight with 8 stacks of Feral Essence. He can revive himself at the cost of 1 stack, so getting this achievement requires killing the Defender 9 times.

Each time the Defender is killed he leaves a Seeping Feral Essence void zone on the floor, so each kill must be on a new location without blocking the rest of the raid.

One thing we noticed while doing this achievement (25 man fyi) was the faster you kill the defender, the more time you have at the end. When we first attempted this achievement, we only had 15 seconds left before Auriaya's enrage timer after the last defender died. The next attempt, we made certain to burn the defender down as fast as possible every time it was up and also made it a point to DPS Auriaya down to about 500k health prior to the last defender dying. Because we were so aggressive on the defenders, we had approximately 35 seconds left to DPS the remaining 500k health on Auriaya. Easy mode.
