Every raid member must dodge every Shadow Crash while killing Vezax on heroic mode. Vezax briefly switches target when casting Shadow Crash, giving aditional time to evacuate the point of impact. Note that DPS casters are advised to step into the buff field that is created after impact.

My guild completed the description of this achievement while doing Vezax hardmode. To our deep disappointment we were not awarded the Achievement though.

After going over the combatlogs we only see a couple shadow crashes deal damage on a mage's Mirror Images and Warlock Imps, also a mage being Ice Blocked while a Crash struck.

A GM confirmed that atm (3.1) Mirror Images hits do count as Raid Membes, he could not 100% confirm if hits on warlock/hunter pets counted as "raid member". Shadow Crash hitting anyone with immune does not count as a hit however according to the GM. Sadly he could not reward the achievement based on our evidence but agreed the scripting of the achievement needs work. So perhaps a change to what it counts as raid members is in place by 3.2.

That would be good news, makes the achievement less painful (as in, you don't have to force your mages to not use Mirror Images). But the GM in question didn't appear to be making up stuff (if they don't know, saying he simply can't provide that information would be more logic), it took a while to get an answer on what counted as a hit and he did say what he was certain about and what not, of course there is still the possibility whichever person he asked made it up.

I don't want to turn it into a disccusion about semantics but the combatlog reads:

General Vezax's Shadow Crash hits RandomMageMirrorImage for 1829 Shadow.
General Vezax Shadow Crash failed. IceBlockedMage was immune.

Surely if the event in combatlog is stated as failed and doesn't even mention the word Hit nothing in wow should count it as such right?

Probably irrelevant now, but a shadow crash hit a mage's Mirror Images and we still got the achievement.

Have 7 people be in ranged, any less than that and the melee will get shadow crashed. All other 18 should be in melee range. Don't kite at all, and just DPS. Those 7 people should stay spread out at all times, not even moving together for the shadow crash buff. They should also be max distance from the boss (40 yards) to have the most time to move from shadow crashes incoming. Make sure to bring down one saronite vapor so hard mode doesn't start.

Assuming the 7 people you chose were competent, then this achievement is pretty simple.
