You get 3 of those of any lvl80-instance boss when your faction controls Wintergrasp, 4 on Heroic, lower numbers for lower-level-dungeons.

Also, Wintergrasp dailies give a few of these each.

i have no clue what sub-80 is but i got 1 from each boss in The Nexus, it also seems you get quite a few from the dailies, this achievement will still take 1-2months, if you do all the dailies each day

You'll get 3 per boss in Utgard Pinnacle normal if your faction is controlling which is a total of 12 through the whole instance.

If you're only killing bosses you need to kill 250 Heroic bosses and 334 Normal bosses in lvl 80 instances while having Wintergrasp in order to reach this.

And if you're going for the achievement without ever stepping your foot inside an instance, these are the quests you'll have to deal with:

Bones and Arrows (H/A) - Gives you 3 shards.
Defend the Siege (H/A) - Gives you 3 shards.
Fueling the Demolishers (H/A) - Gives you 3 shards.
Healing with Roses / A Rare Herb (H/A) - Gives you 3 shards.
Jinxing the Walls / Warding the Warriors (H/A) - Gives you 3 shards.
Slay them all! / No Mercy for the Merciless (H/A) - Gives you 3 shards.
Stop the Siege (H/A) - Gives you 3 shards.
Toppling the Towers / Southern Sabotage (H/A) - Gives you 1 shard.
Victory in Wintergrasp (H/A) - Gives you 1 shard.

And... you'd need to do all the dailies for 44 days in order to reach this achievement (:

so far its seemed buged for me - i am at 927 : and i have done the WG dailies today and got 11 SKS - but my earned stayed at 927 : i put up a ticket, but while i wait for that - any1 else planning for this might wanna wait until its fixed.

So now they have a PVP achievement which you not only have don't have to PVP to achieve (never had to, actually) but can't even get credit toward through PVP? That's retarded.

Couldn't agree more. Pretty sure this will be fixed once enough people complain.

I did a heroic some days ago and another Keeper shard dropped so you can get 5 per boss if you are lucky, I won the roll so that were 4 shards per boss and 5 shards for last boss. Another way to get a bit more of these shards =P

Not getting credit for this achievement currently. I've earned hundreds of shards, but my first achievement count is 0/50.
