This is very hard unless the other team is AFK, since a single cannon is almost able to take a siege vehicle out.

One tactic could be that you "Ram a gate" and then park the vehicle a place where the other team wont find it, tho i don't think you vehicles will respawn unless they are killed so that means you will have to manage with what you got.

But i guess this achievement is like any of the specific BG achievements (AB 2000-0,EotS 2000-0, etc) it really depends on the other team.

The idea is probably to get through the first wall and then use Seaforium charges to blow the doors from there on out

Edit: I've gotten this twice on my way to 100 wins and I've seen Horde get it once. Basically just get lucky enough to be matched up against a pack of monkeys and you will get this achievement done.

Or you could have a pre-made engineer group with lotsa grenades
and i mean LOTS of grenades
Edit: engineer grenades can do siege damage to those who are unaware

More like Alliance exploiting our vehicles more, most of the horde team cant make it to the beach in time as the game is just starting, the whole alliance team can camp the horde vehicles by the second round making this achievement almost impossible to get.

Hordes are more than capable to get to vehicles in time and even ahead of time (except maybe for those who joined the match in last few seconds).

In fact, Horde even have the advantage vs. Alliance since Alliance vehicles can be targeted and dpsd about 10sec before the ship arrives. One-two DKs popping their Army of Dead will destroy the demolisher before any of the allies is even able to reach it.
On the other hand, Horde vehicles become targetable only about 3secs after the ship reaches the dock, thus they are able to prevent most of the damage to their demolishers.

About alliance having advantage by being first attackers i totally agree. What escapes my understanding however is why Blizz wouldn't do anything about it? Making the sides random would be quite an easy fix...

won a strand match today without losing a single siege vehicle as confirmed by scoreboard at end of the game, yet no achievement was won. Is this currently bugged?

If you defend first round and manage to prevent the opposing team reaching Titan Relic for 10 minutes, they will most likely won't bother fighting at 2nd round when you attack. (since even if they succesfully defend they will only get a draw- not a win). So the most ideal situation to get this achivement is defending succesfully first round. That's how i got this on a pure pug.
