Total: 875 (or 865, depending on which part of the Borean Tundra tip is correct)

In order to complete 3000 Quests Completed by the time you finish all of these in Northrend, you will need to have completed 2125 (or 2135) quests in Outlands, Eastern Kingdoms, and Kalimdor.

Just doing the bare minimum in each zone will net you 2720 quests (Outlands: 595; Kalimdor: 700; Eastern Kingdoms: 550, plus 875 for Northrend).

I suppose the real question is how tightly these numbers are 'tuned' - for example, Grizzly Hills only requires 75 quests, but maybe Horde has a possible 90 quests to do. Obviously the 3000 quests achievement will still require a little work above and beyond the scope if this achievement.

This achievement is also needed in order to gain the ability to create , which can be crafted by tailors.

This achievement took a while. The last few quests in the higher-level zones are a challenge. I suggest you finish all the group quests and then revisit the quest giver locations. The list above of drops starting a quest is important, so keep track of which you've already obtained.

I couldn't find anything special you get other than the Deathchill Cloak pattern. Please comment if I'm mistaken. tyvm.

Ok so I finished all the Northrend quests and yeah I know about the pattern for tailos, but, my question is if anyone knows, Whats the point? What do leatherworkers or anyone else get out of it besides bragging rights and some gold from doing them all. Is there atitle, pattern for other proffessions, pat on the back? Hmm? Help?

Blizzard "phases out" certain NPC's once you do certain quests. A total joke leaving some of us screwed for achievements. Brilliant job blizz.

A great add-on for this achievement is Carbonite. Basically what it does is gives you a checklist of every quest you can start in a zone. When you do a quest it marks it off the list. It lists all hard to find escorts, rare drops, and out of place quest givers. The only downside is after you download it, you have to mark off the quests your have already completed because it can't track quests before it is installed. Still a great way to go through a zone and see if you missed any quests.

After you have done that, use the addon to see where your missing quests are, check on www.cuckhead.com/wotlk if needed and finish your loremaster achievement !

I just spent months getting this achievement, and no reward? Wah! X'(.
Well, at least I have the comfort of knowing that I probably know a lot more about the actual game than most annoying paladin uber pvpers that I have had the misfortune of coming across on my travels. :P
