People spending loads of gold aren't looking carefully at the recipes, I have a level 1 grandmaster cook,
The only thing I spent money on was recipes. Learning the grandmaster skill included, I might have spent
120g at most on my cooking skill. Farming mats can be surprisingly easy with a higher level, it would take
as much time as spamming "WTB 20 bear flanks" at the time someone approaches you, you could have
already farmed it yourself. Unfortunately I can't lay out any feast, however, I can cook the great feast and trade
with a friend to set it up for me. No, I'm not a twink, I am an achievement hunter, quite surprising how hard

During the Pilgrim Festival, you can get to 350 cooking skill easily, just by using the recipes that are provided durign the festival itself. I believe that the total cost is less than one gold, while the net reward gained at 80 is somewhere close to 100 gold (if the pilgrim dailies are completed at the same time).
