It will take long to get, but it's said that you will get a 'Battle Master' or 'Battlemaster' title for it.

To get it:

Av part:
- 100 AV wins
- 50 Graveyard captures (by you) in AV
- 50 Tower Defends (by you) in AV
- 50 Honorable Kills in Drek'Thars/Stormpikes room (only the room of your faction general)
- Win while your team is in control of both graveyards
- Win AV in 6 minutes
- Kill someone before he dismounts
- Win while your Captain and General survives, all towers (both the Horde and Alliance ones) are controlled by your faction (so not destroyed)
- Defend and assault a Tower and a Graveyard and kill soemone at the Field of Strife in 1 AV battle
- Own the AV epic mount (of your faction ofc.)
- Loot https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/achievement=1166

Ab part:
- 100 AB wins
- Win AB with a 2000 to 0 score
- Take 50 flags in AB
- Assault 3 bases in 1 AB battle
- Defend 3 bases in 1 AB battle
- Defend (by recapping the flag) 50 AB bases
- Overcome a 500 point disadvantage in AB and win (so wen your team has 500 points and your enemy got 1000 you need to win (while you where losing first)
- 10 Victories with all 5 bases under your control
- Win AB in 6 minutes
- In 1 AB battle interupt flag capture 'x' times
- A second achievement with 'x' flag interupts
- Win with 2000 vs 1990 points
- Assault and Defend 2 bases (so 4 in total) in 1 battle
- Get 5 honor kills at all the 5 bases (25 kills in total) in 1 battle

WSG part:
- Get 100 WSG wins
- Capture the flag
- Return the flag 50 times
- Return the flag 5 times in 1 battle
- Win WSG with 3-0
- Win WSG in (less then) 7 minutes
- Score 3 flag captures in 1 battle, without dying
- Get exalted with your WSG faction
- Kill 'x' players before they leave your flag room
- Grab the flag and capture it within 75 seconds
- Kill 'x' flag carriers
- Kill the flag carrier while he's in their flag room (just before scoring)

EotS part:
- 100 EotS wins
- Win with 2000 vs 0 points
- Win 10 battles while holding 4 bases
- Win within 6 minutes
- Get 5 honorable kills on 5 flag carriers
- Capture the flag
- Capture (in 1 battle) 3 flags (and score) without dying
- Get a killing blow under effect of the Berserker buff in EoTS
- Kill the flag carrier, pick up the flag and score for your team
- Kill an enemy who is standing on the starting rock

The Arena Part:
- Win a ranked match in Blade's Edge, Nagrand and Lordearon arena
- Win 300 (ranked) matches
- Get a 2200 rating in 2vs2
- Get a 2200 rating in 3vs3
- Get a 2200 rating in 5vs5
- Win 10 matches in a row (without losing)
- Win 10 matches in a row (without losing) with an rating of 1800 or above
- Win 10 matches in a row (without losing) with an rating of 2000 or above
- Be the only survivor (of both teams ofc.) in a (ranked) 5vs5 match
- Kill someone within 15 seconds of the start of the match
- Win a match within 45 seconds

Is that even *!@#ing possible without exploiting a door or facing someone that's naked? (Essentially you would have to agree to face someone naked, a.k.a. WINTRADE.)

Yeah, A lot of people are saying this will be impossible / take over 9000 hours etc etc.

I think it's a pretty cool achievment though, because if you get it you really have acheived something (not having a life is a seperate issue, i mean acheived in WoW)

It would kind of suck if every acheivement was just some random thing that anyone can do, It would also suck if every earnable title didn't actually mean anything.

Just if you yourself cannot do this does not make it a bad acheivment, if there are people out there who will do this they deserve their own title.

Warning: Long and Detailed!

Alright, I've completed nearly all of the pre-WotLK achievements besides "The Alterac Blitz" (https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/achievement=226) and "We Had It All Along *cough*" (https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/achievement=162). Since most people looking here will be trying to look for hints/tips on the most difficult of the achievements and which ones they will actually have to TRY for before they complete the "Veteran" achievement (100 wins in a BG) in each respective battleground, here is a list of the harder achievements in each BG (besides Strand of the Ancients) and how to achieve them from a Horde perspective. I will also rank these in order of difficulty in my opinion and omit the ones considered 'trivial' if you are actually attempting to get the Battlemaster title.

Alterac Valley, along with Arathi Basin, probably has the most difficult achievements to well, achieve. I'll start from the bottom up. Looting the Autographed Picture took me about 6 games to loot one, after approximately 250 bodies or so. Just stick with the pack and mass loot...kind of boring but the drop rate seems to be higher for others than for me.

The most efficient way to get Grave Robber and Tower Defense would be to start off by going to Snowfall graveyard while avoiding the huge mass of Alliance coming towards you. You can either do this by running towards Stonehearth Bunker then heading straight left towards Snowfall or you can head directly west from Iceblood graveyard until you are a little past Galvanger then head north. I recommend the second option but make sure you don't run north until you are well ahead of Iceblood Garrison or you will get trampled by Alliance. And if you arrive late to AV I would recommend the first option. It is important that you start off by doing this because you can get a guaranteed 1 assault on a GY each game this way, maybe more. After this, WAIT for the Alliance to finish Galvanger and cap Iceblood Tower / Tower Point, then head back and try to defend those. Often, you will need a partner or two because the Alliance tend to defend these towers heavily. From here on out, I recommend just defending towers for the rest of the game by following the Alliance's trail until you get the "Tower Defense" achievement because this one takes a LOT of time. I'd probably say it takes 40 games of solo AV to nail both the Grave Robber and Tower Defense achievements. You can usually get the AV All-star achievement while you're at this, too.

Alterac Blitz and Frostwolf Perfection will both require preforms of at least 15 people or so unless you get unusually lucky in a pug AV. The latter requires the Horde to defend at Galv, then push up slowly all the way to Vandarr while having a defense team of 7-8 running around recapping towers and preventing Relief Hut from falling to the Alliance. The former is shown in a YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oee-_iJH7ns - taken from HansPrytz's post) but is still very, very hard to achieve.

You shouldn't have much trouble with the others if you have enough time to actually consider getting the Battlemaster title.

Tips: If there is a solo Alliance player at a tower or at Snowfall, it is actually better to 'cc' them (kinda) than to kill them. As a priest, I usually fear the enemy, force them to trinket, Mind Control them off the Snowfall Cliff or off the tower, then cap the flag. After that, I jump down, let them assault it again, then rinse and repeat. Of course, not every class has MC but you can Typhoon or Blast Wave them off...you get my point. I've gotten 5 Tower Defense caps in a game this way as well as 8 assaults on Snowfall in a different game. I found AV to be the best battleground to do when you are solo BG'ing.

Get some Swiftness Potions for Quick Cap. Most of the times you will need one, if not two, of the Speed Powerups to get this achievement. This one's not too bad, especially if you are a druid, rogue, or pally.

Save the Day was moderately difficult for me because I was a healer. I can imagine that it would be much easier it you are a Ret Pally, Arcane Mage, or rogue or if you partner with one. Just camp out in their flag room with at least one person in the ledge on the 2nd floor overlooking the room and one person watching the tunnel. The best way to do this without letting your opponents know that you're there is to hide around the corner and pan your camera so you can see if the flag bearer is coming in, but they can't see you. Communicate and let your teammates know where the flag is (I had Mind Vision, so this part was easier) and blow all your cooldowns once he turns the corner and is in the flag room. They won't even know what hit them.

Ironman - this one is pretty self-explanatory, having a Pally friend and/or Free Action Potions help a lot. Another note: you don't actually have to pick up the flag from their room to complete this achivement! You can get a friend to run the flag all the way from their base to your flag room, drop it inside your base, then pick it up and run 5 feet for the cap. This will make the 'not dying' part a lot easier.

Frenzied Defender and Not In My House (I did it when it was 10 kills) just require some coordinated friends that can dps well. Chase flag runner. Kill him. Click fast. If you are having trouble getting opponents to come to your base, you can grab THEIR flag and bring it into your flag room but not actually cap it. This will force the Alliance to come to you and you can snag a few easy returns when they grab the flag out of desperation.

Master of Warsong Gulch is the second easiest in my opinion (after Eye of the Storm).

Keeping enemies off the flag is not extremely difficult. AoE, tab attack the guy right clicking the flag, and more AoE keeps them from capping. What is difficult is letting the opponents assault the base, killing them / ccing them, THEN defending it because the opponents usually come in hordes, not small packs. The easiest way that I've found to get a lot of defends is to hide out with a friend at a node under your control. And by hide I mean stay in the building out of sight - there is a house/building at each node that you can chill in, making the base look undefended and ripe for assaulting. If three or less people come, let them cap the flag then pop out and try to kill all of them under fifty seconds. After that, recap the flag. This is not as easy as it sounds because a) a lot more enemies may come, b) you die. The maximum amount of defends I've gotten this way is 5 in one game...I typically average around 1 per game. Pretend to be afk, hide...do whatever it takes for that solo ninjaer to run around and try to assault your node. You can also try to run around and come to the rescue of other nodes that just got assaulted, but this has a really low success rate because often you'll just run into a pack of 7 Alliance standing around the flag. Try it if you don't believe me.

Resilient Victory is pretty easy with a preform. Have everybody stand at the farm and let them 4-cap. Once the score is around 500-130 or so (I know its a 500 score difference, but it takes time to actually RUN to the nodes and CAP them so I'd start a little bit earlier) storm the other bases and go for a 4 or 5 cap. Not terribly difficult, just requires some friends and coordination.

We Had It All Along *cough* is arguably the hardest achievement on the path to Battlemaster. It requires unprecedented luck or flawless coordination. With a preform, I could see this happening in a few different ways. 1) Cap two nodes and let the opponent have two nodes, being sure to cap a wee bit faster than them. Keep the other node uncapped the whole game and there you have it. 2) Go 2 nodes to their 3 for most of the game then calculate when you need to assault the third to win by a margin of 10. So if the score is 1170-790 and you assault their base at this time, there will be 60 seconds or so of 1:1 resource gain and at 1220-840 you will start gaining resources at a ratio of 3:2. So then you'll gain 1160 resources to their (1160 * 2/3 = ) 770 resources and win by a margin of 10 (1220 + 770 = 1990 840 + 1160 = 2000). This is purely theoretical assuming you assault EXACTLY at 1170-790 and that 10 resources come every 12 seconds. Let me know if somebody calculates this exactly but 1170-790 should be very very close to the real number.

Well just to say, this achievement is highly doable, with the right guild and group.
Luckily im in a BG/PvP guild so we've been premading the 1990-2k AB win, Defence of the ancients, not even a scratch and most of the others.
The most time consuming and mostly luck (good for you if you aren't in a retarded battlegroup) with entering games at start, not like what happened to me, 50% of the games i entered for Strands were already started, 5vs12 or 13v4 and all that.

All the time spent was well worth it.:)

BTW: I just want to add that the addon 'Premade AV enabler' which helped us que with 10people and just rush north with 4 Marshalls still up, it's easily doable and might be even easier now that we have DKs :s

Well yes what Zurnagos said was a terrible thing to complain about...but that also means that in his situation its near-impossible to get the Battlemaster achievement because the Alliance can't attack and thus he can't get Tower Defense.

This is definitely not an easy achievement. The criteria for a few of them, however impossible they seemed, were possible. I have been grinding for this since the achievement system came out with pretty steady success. Tomorrow I will finish my last two AV Tower defenses and claim the achievement and the title. I wear it loud and proud because I've been pvping since before BC. It's definitely bragging rights, but don't always assume people with this title have no life. It just means they probably focused much of their playtime on pvp. Woot.

Got this achievement last week. It's definetly one of the longest grinds in this game, but it's totally worth it, the title reward shows who the real PvP'ers are.
And ^&*! off to the people that say this isn't skill-wise and it isn't hard, I challenge you all to get it instead of bashing the ones who are good enough to show it off.

Grats to all the Battlemasters out there (soon to be pre 3.3 patch ones at least), you've earned my respect.
