Is it possible to do it with lev 80 char killing lev 60? Or it need to be honorable kill.
I play on server with no outdoor pvp so its impossible to make this achievement.
I could get access to friend account and create DK on my server - alliance side.

also ive noticed you dont have to get the kill shot either as long as you do damage you will get credit for the kill

The best time to get this is now! (Midsummers's Fest.) I just sat at the Org flame (didnt have anything better to do) and just put a flame shock on them when they got to the flame..started with 8/50 and got to 50 in no time.

Pilgrim's Bounty and the new Winter Veil achievement aren't required of What a Long Strange Trip It's Been, but they will still generate some traffic.

Most of this has been said, but I'll consolidate it into one post.

What you DO have to do:

Deal damage. The only way around this requirement is if you're in a party/raid and one of your members gets the kill, in which case you will get credit even if you did no damage.
Be inside your city. You will get no credit towards this achievement if you yourself are not inside the city, even if you kill a target that is.

What you DO NOT have to do:

Get an honorable kill. Any player of the opposite faction, regardless of level, will count towards this achievement.
Land the killing blow. As long as you do any amount of damage to the target or are in a party/raid with someone who gets the kill, you will earn credit towards this achievement.
Kill a target physically in your city. As long as you yourself are inside of the city, killing a target will contribute to this achievement, even if the target is outside of the city.

Just got it today! It was in Silvermoon. Alliance was in Orgrimmar at 1st and managed to down Thrall. Then we set up a defensive raid and since there are no more race restrictions on PVP realms we went and spyed on the alliance. We found out they were going to Silvermoon.

We managed to set up an almost full raid and went to stand behind Lor'themar Theron up on the balcony. It was really funny to see the alliance as they 1st entered the room and stood in the hallway just in front of him.

They were probably like "Hey this room is kinda full!"

Needless to say Horde stood victorious today in Silvermoon.

Rather easy to do now during Pilgrim's world event, just camp a table in your city (UC in my case) and wait for the opposing faction come for the table for their table achievement, kill and wait some more :D

Horde guide for soloing in classic:

Most classic servers are 99.9% of either Horde or Alliance, so there's not a chance you will find any people for this achievement. I suggest you make an Alliance mage and level it to 20 so you get 60% mount and access to teleports for faster travel.

You could also just make level 1 Alliance character and run to Horde city but I find having level 20 Alliance more useful in other ways as well (buying pets, recipes, whatever you might need at some point).

1. Move both your Horde main and Alliance alt to a specific Horde city. I suggest finding a spot inside the city as close to the Alliance graveyard as possible but without any guards/NPCs around. Both characters must be close to each others.
2. Login to your Alliance alt.
3. Alt + f4 to exit the game.
4. Open the game and login to your Horde main quickly.
5. Kill the Alliance alt.
6. Alt + f4 to exit the game.
7. Open the game and login to your Alliance alt, release spirit and either run back or take resurrection sickness if you are level 20+ and got a mount.
8. Go to step 3.

Repeat until you have killed your Alliance alt 50 times. You will get credit for the achievement even if it has a resurrection sickness or is level 1. This trick also works for Wrath of the Horde.

NOTE: I somehow got 2 credits per 1 kill, don't know if this is intended or a bug. Anyway, had to do only 25 kills/"resets".

You can use a macro to check the progress (it's not refreshing instantly in the achievement interface, unless you reload)

If you're "soloing" this on Horde side, Thunder Bluff has relatively short and straight (comparing to other cities) run back from the graveyard, stand just below Hunter Rise (South side).
