With the release of Tides of Vengeance, the Darkshore Warfront is now open on US realms! As stated by the devs before, Darkshore starts in control of the Horde, and the Alliance will jump straight into action with the Warfront scenario open to them. This marks the beginning of the first Darkshore Warfront cycle in Tides of Vengeance.
To access the new version of Darkshore, including the queue for the Warfront scenario, you need to complete a short introduction questline. To check these questlines for both Horde and Alliance, check our
Story of Darkshore guide
!
You only need to complete the introduction questline once to unlock access to the Darkshore scenario for all your alts.
We're already tracking Darkshore progress in our

Alliance
With Alliance fighting for control of Darkshore, it is time to queue for the scenario!
The Alliance going straight into battle, without the need for contributions is a one-time occurrence
, as after this cycle, each faction will have to contribute as normal before they're able to attack the Warfront. Completing the first Warfront victory quest awards you with a
385 piece of gear
.
Alliance players will be able to queue into the Darkshore Warfront for a week, before they take over the zone. The scenario itself works slightly different from the Arathi Highlands scenario for the Alliance, with the main difference being that
Bois
is now generated passively. Alliance is able to queue to the Darkshore scenario from the Warfronts table near the Wind's Redemption in Boralus.
