The Orc Heritage Armor questline revolves around recreating the ancient Draenor tradition of Kosh'harg for Azeroth. During this festival, all the orcish clans put aside any rivalries to meet in peace for a grand celebration and feast. This questline features notable orcs from all over World of Warcraft's history, many of which have something unique to say!
Among the visitors are Orc Shaman from the Earthern Ring, as well as Orc Priests and Mages representing the
newer class/race combinations
that have been added to the game. A Shadow Priest from the Shadowmoon Clan even has a special dialogue for Priests!
The Shadowmoon Priest
A single representative for the Shadowmoon clan attends the Kosh'harg. The clan's last chieftain was Ner'zhul, who made the Blood Pact with Kil'jaeden that cursed the Orcs long ago.
Relka Bloodfyre can be found standing alone, a little away from the other orcs. She explains that the only reason for her visit is because she has heard that Orcs now have Priests... specifically Shadow Priests.
Ah, you are <name>, the one who will complete the new rite today. Most of these orcs are too afraid to approach me.
I am Relka, the last Mag'har of the Shadowmoon clan. The others keep their distance, not wishing to converse with one of Ner'zhul's fallen. I do not blame them. But I have not come to reclaim my clan's place at the Kosh'harg, or to re-fight old wars.
I have come because I have heard that there are now some among the orcs who listen to the songs of life and shadow. The mysteries of the cosmos are ones that the Shadowmoon have mastered.
If nothing else, I wish to share my dead clan's knowledge with the young where I can, and try to steer those who seek to use the darkness away from disaster.
Orc Priests have an additional dialogue option, hinting that
We call ourselves "Priests" here.
And how quickly you have gained power, <name>! I hope you have not made any... unwise alliances to ascend with such haste.
<She grins at you. Her dead eye seems to sparkle under her hood.>
I believe there is much we can teach each other, Priest. I hope to see you again after the Kosh'harg.
Orc Mages
At the feast, Orc mages - also known as Arcweavers - are represented by Marud and Arcweaver Kashra.
So few of us have chosen the path of the mage. I am glad to see Kashra flourishing.
She was almost not given the chance. It was only through Thrall's intervention that the remaining Arcweavers were not executed for treason after the Siege of Orgrimmar.
He saw potential in orcs able to wield the arcane, an area where the Alliance and their Kirin Tor have always been dominant. He thought it a waste to dispose of what could be a valuable resource.
I will forever be grateful for his compassion and wisdom.
Kashra is actually a member of the
Frostwolf clan
, even named for Mother Kashur. Though she can be seen eating with her mentor and Relka, the Orc Priest, she also plans to connect with her clan at the gathering.
Arcweaver Kashra
I, like many other orcs, was disconnected from my clan when my parents were taken into internment camps.
They were Frostwolf, and named me for the venerable Mother Kashur. I know little else.
I will use this opportunity to try and reconnect with my heritage.
Earthern Ring Shaman
Several Orc Shaman from the Earthern Ring also attend the Kosh'harg. Before the feast, Rehgar Earthfury can be seen with Zor Lonetree and Terga Earthbreaker.
Rehgar Earthfury
Ah, the orc of the hour. Throm'ka, <name>.
The spirits are watching with anticipation. I know you will honor us with your best effort.
Zor, a Farseer himself, is pleased with
Aggra's promotion into the Farseers
, and seems confident that Durak, Thrall and Aggra's son, will choose the path of Shaman as well.
It is good to see Aggralan joining the ranks of the Farseers. She has more than proven herself.
I look forward to seeing young Durak's growth as a shaman. He comes from powerful stock, that one!
(Players know Durak is less sure himself after a conversation with the boy, but we don't tell Zor that.)
Durak says: Drek'Thar said I'll know my path when I go through it myself. That I shouldn't worry.
Durak says: But I'm not stupid. Everyone expects me to be a shaman like my parents!
Durak says: What if the spirits don't call to me? What if I don't want to be a shaman? What then?
During the feast, the Earthen Ring can be seen sharing a table together. We can speak once again with Rehgar. The old gladiator master who once held Varian Wrynn himself seems unusually optimistic about the future.
Rehgar Earthfury
I am not surprised that you were successful in your om'gora. You are mighty, and deserve the honor and glory you have earned.
But I am surprised at how hopeful this event has made me feel. The spirits whisper of a renewal of our people. They mean to crack the shell of cynicism this hardened old soldier and gladiator had built up over the years...
This seems to be the start of a bright future for us.
