How the Legion Class Order Hall Campaign Works

Legion introduces Class Order Halls, a special place specifically for your class where you are able to see other members of the same class and work your way to leveling up your artifact weapon. Along with these, Class Order Halls also have their own separate campaign, somewhat similar to garrisons in Warlords of Draenor, however these encourage you to go out into the world and explore even more so than you did before. Each class gets their own separate questline which sticks to their class fantasy as well as their followers and troops.

In order to begin your class order hall campaign you need to complete your artifact questline and then gather enough artifact power to level a new trait. That should prompt a quest to appear by your order hall table. The first quest you get should be to recruit 1-2 followers, afterwards your order hall table will start showing the campaign quest. You will continue to gain quests that give experience or items that aren't tied to your campaign, same as it was for the garrisons. If you would like you can also place a follower with the body guard trait in the bottom of the menu and this follower will help you out in the open world. At the moment some of these rewards seem to be placeholder.
Particular followers have traits that can help you out in the world. Some will stay by your side as you adventure, and some will periodically show up if you are in danger. For example, as a Monk, you have
Chen Brune d'Orage
that tanks for you and as you are out adventuring or you can use
Li Li Brune d’Orage
and she will show up if you take damage and help heal you!
In order to proceed through your campaign you will need to gather Order Hall Resources however you can only get these from quests, treasures, rares, and dungeons. These at the moment seem to be the only way to get resources, it doesn't seem like you can get them from order hall quests.
Along with followers, there are troops. As the followers were followers to send on missions in your Garrison, the troops act somewhat like shipyard ships. They can be killed if they are sent to help out on a mission. However you can also get items that will heal them back up.
When you send out your troops on a mission, they return and will have an grayed out heart, indicating that they have been sent out once already that day.
There are times you will get some traits that you will need to counter with your followers. If particular traits aren't countered, then it will cause all your troops to meet an untimely death.
You can use your followers and troops to get to 100% to complete the mission and win the prize tied to the mission. However if you manage to get
over
100%, the extra percentage that you gain will be put towards an extra bag of loot.
You will eventually get missions that let you start on questlines to unlock artifact weapons for other specs.
Progressing through your missions and campaigns and obtaining more order hall resources will help you level your Order Hall up. You will be able to choose one of two Order Hall traits from a tier. Once you choose either the left or right trait of that tier, then you will work towards the second level tier and so on.
Monk Class Order Hall Upgrades
Tier 1 :
Auspicious Fortune:
Doubles the chance for your quest rewards to get a rare of epic Bonus Upgrade -
Lucky Envelope:
Increases success chance by 20% on the first mission of the day.
Tier 2 :
Enlightenment:
Newly recruited troops have a chance to be upgraded one rank, making them more powerful. Initiates have a chance to become Adepts, and Adepts have a chance to become Masters. -
Living Quarters:
Increase the maximum number of Students of the Tiger you can recruit from 2 to 4.
Tier 3 :
Path of the Ox:
Newly recruited Ox initiates become Ox Adept, which adds Shuffle, Increases mission success chance by 30% when a
Hazard
is present. -
Path of the Tiger:
Newly recruited Tiger Initiates become Tiger Adepts, which add Spinning Crane Kick, increased mission success chance by 30% when
Minions
are present.
Tier 4:
Brewhouse:
Gain a powerful brew each day. -
Pilgrimage:
The cost of recruiting Ox and Tiger troops is reduced by 25%.
Tier 5:
One with Destiny:
You can place a work order for a Seal of Fate once a day. -
Celestial Favor:
You can summon a Celestial once per day.
Tier 6:
Fists of Legend:
Upgrades your artifact forge to allow socketing of a third slot.
This will also be how you work your way to unlocking the Third Artifact Weapon Relic Slot in your Artifact Weapon.
