The 7 day poison can can be removed by a pally, I'm not sure if there is any other method that can do this as well.

I don't know how, but mine dissapeared about 1h after becoming poisoned. I guess i can throw this oil away?

You can still use this to cure it if u dont find a poision remedey, its on the way to learn about poisons.

For Horde, don't throw this away until after you've level your lockpicking to 170 using the chest at the top of the rogue quest tower near Sludge Fen in northeastern Barrens. The chest is the easiest way to level lockpicking to 170:

But it gives you Touch of Zanzil every time you open it, which Hinot's Oil can cure.

if you no longer have a bottle of this, you can get another bottle of Hinott's Oil from Serge Hinott in Tarren Mill.

What you do, is from the rogue trainer in Orgrimmar, get the quest at level 20. He'll tell you to north of Sludge Fen and fire off two shots from a flare gun and salute the guy at the bottom of a tree. He'll give you another quest, which was easily soloable at level 22, and then you need to go back to talk to the rogue trainer in Orgrimmar. He then tells you to go to Hinott here in Tarren Mill, because you'll have a poison from finishing the previous quest that is otherwise uncurable (unless you die) and lasts for 7 days. Hinott gives you this item to cure the poison along with the ability to coat your weapons wish poisons. Voila.

For some reason, when I turned in the Mission: Possible quest to Shenthul, the Zanzil debuff disappeared immediately, so when I finally got around to completing this quest chain, there was no longer anything useful I could do with this item, so I destroyed it. I find this odd, though, since you're clearly supposed to use it, and I did not die since receiving the debuff either.

I actually used Anit-Venom to cure that poison I received from the Mission Possible quest. Didn't realized that poison was part of the quest chain.

Now I have the Oil and nothing to use it for.

haha if u have first aid you get a poison cleaning thingie pretty early lvl, so if u use that one u dont have 2 use zanzil thing =P

LoL, im lvl 70 and i still hav it. I was hoping there was some use for it but i guess not. useless items ftw!

it says Use on Touch of Zanzil, this is a poisen that lasts for 7 days, kill someguys who are around the sludge fen u know the ones that u had to kill for previus quest, keep killing until you get the poisen then use it.

You can destroy Hinott's Oil once you check your spellbook for Poisons and the quest is gone.
