This can sometimes be a simple money maker if you're Horde, as it's necessary for the Elixir of Agony quest in Hillsbrad. If you're Alliance, well, I'm sorry :P

I'm a Potion Master and this comes under Elixirs.. Yet it procced for me for some reason, I got x2 on the last one I made.. and i'm pretty sure procs only come from TBC recipes+ ;o

And also the quest only took 1 off me.

I read up on the quest that requires this Elixir and found that it's supposedly really difficult to find and expensive. I checked the AH fully expecting it to either not be there or be insanely overpriced. I was surprised to find that the AH was well stocked with these and got mine for only 1G. Not sure if it's because the people selling it don't know that it's a quest item or if they just don't care and I'm lucky but I'm not complaining.

For some reason this sells really nice on AH... around 1g for 1 vial of it. Insane? yes. but i don't mind.

You have to buy it at the Auction House, can't find it anywhere.

To say this more clearly, this potion is player made with 125 alchemy skill. If you know an alchemist they would probably make you one if you can find the mats (Briarthorn (x2) Bruiseweed(x2) leaded vial). Baring that the AH is your only bet. You can't quest, loot or vendor purchase this potion.

Where would one find the actual RECIPE for this potion? Never seen it in AH, and wouldn't have any idea which vendor to begin checking - WOW's a big place LOL...

Hey, I'm trying to find someone to make the ''Strong troll's blood elixir'' for me. I'm a 30lvl Warlock and can make various glyphs if anyone needs them. I don't have alot of money. The only one i can find is at the AH for 9G+. That's about all i have at the moment. I'm on server Elune and my blood elf's name is Ellyesium. If anyone could help me please message me! I just sold a bunch of glyphs at the AH for about 4s a piece. Then saw that most people charge 9-10g for such things. I'm just trying to finish my quest and anyone that can help would be greatly appreciated!

If any alchemist on the horde side is capable of making this potion I'd be very greatful so please contact me via in-game mail and it'd also help if you also say that guy in westfall can only sell it to alliance.

I don't know why everyone is making such a big deal out of this. It is a recipe learned from any alchemy trainer, and an alchemist only needs a skill of 125 to make it. It has very simple ingredients. My name is Krayne and I am on the server Vashj (Horde side) and I will make it for you if you need it, but really any level 20 alchemist should be able to make it. It is also on the Auction House a lot, or at least when I've looked. I agree that they should sell it on the Horde side though.

This is required to complete a Horde-only quest chain: Elixir of Agony.

It is crafted by expert alchemists (skill level 125) and is not readily available at any vendor. The materials required to craft one potion consists of Bruiseweed (2) and Briarthorn (2) mixed in a Leaded Vial (1).

Be "prepared." Bring or have one stored in the bank (or mailbox) around levels 22-30 when questing at Tarren Mill, Hillsbrad Foothills as Horde. Another good item to keep handy for Horde at Tarren Mill in this level rage would be Turtle Meat for Soothing Turtle Bisque (Alliance version). It can easily be obtained (considering a somewhat poor drop rate) when questing in Thousand Needles for the quest Hardened Shells.

You could also just follow the coast of Lordamere Lake for turtles, but this is out of the way considering the above.
