It's a good idea to take either this quest the "The Bronze Dragonshrine." quest as the last quest in the first part, so you'll have a short way to get yourself to Alexstreza in Wyrmrest Temple on the second part of this quest chain to obtain your Vanity Pet.

Just to clear up any confusion. If you read the quest text attached to this page you will see it is for the Wolvar, rather than the Oracle orphan.

This is where Fig666's and Kenriro's confusion stems from - the pin is in fact correct, only it serves the Oracle quest - which can be found here: https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/quest=13950 - rather than the Wolvar equivalent which is as deathsummoner states - in dragonblight and at his original pin, or there about.

Isn't this quest a little cruel seeing as how players routinely make kidnapped orphans out of the pups that hang around Snowfall Glade? "Don't worry little wolvar, in a year I'll be back to have you visit your soon-to-be-orphaned friends for a reunion!"

Location for these little guys is 42/61 in dragonblight, Bronze Dragonshrine also in this zone at bottom of steps location 71/41.

Make sure you blow the whistle when you get there, watch out for snowballs!

Guess you need to murder Wolvar randomly until the murderous pup is sated? Literally went to every coordinate that anyone has ever suggested for this quest and nothing... Literally without moving and standing still I was able to get the quest complete simply by killing a den mother and another while making the lil orphan watch... I'm starting to see why the wolvar are going extinct lol.
