The pre-patch for Shadowlands has brought a change to lockboxes from all expansions.
I did some testing and have found a few interesting things.
-The ilvl/level of the gear inside the lockbox is determined by the person opening the lockbox.
-if a person took a look at the items but did not loot the lockbox and trades the lockbox to another character of different level the loot inside will stay the same BUT will change ilvl/level depending on the NEW person opening.
-The gold inside a lockbox does not scale and will not change.
-The person who unlocked the lockbox has no effect on the contents of the lockbox.
-The level of all current lockboxes stops at level 50 and will no longer increase in vendor value when a level 51-60 character opens the lockbox (tested on beta)
overall just ensure that you pass these lockboxes to the highest level character you have to ensure the maximum gold possible
If you would like transmog gear for low level open the lockbox on a level 1-10 toon. the gear does not scale any lower than level 10 toon. this will make the gear the cheapest possible making reposting on the auction house really cheap.

After the levelsquish i ended up with a bunch of lvl45 chars (the old 110 army) like alot of people. Now with Hallows End active we can run around getting the candybuckets again for tokens to sell pets the rest of the year.
Grab the
CandyBucket addon (be sure to update to the latest version, a hotfix went out about an hour ago). Each CandyBucket gives me 3%/level on a lvl45 char, so this is some free xp for doing something alot of us are planning on doing anyway.
I mentioned it in the farming guide that I
posted here, but now is the time to do it in all of your level 3 garrisons. Do all 4 daily quests once to earn 5
Spooky Supplies and purchase the
Creepy Crawlers decoration from
Izzy Hollyfizzle.
Hallow's End decorations can be left up all year for a daily kill on
Arachnis who can drop
Sack of Spectral Spiders toy. The same decoration also makes some unique battle pets appear in your garrison.
Arachnis has scaled up with 9.0 and is no longer a one-shot kill at max level. It is currently level 50 for a level 50 character.
Edit: While doing the dailies you can also receive the
Coin of Many Faces toy from the skeletons.
Now that Hallow's End is back, just a reminder that one of the best mount in the game (event-duration only) is once again available - the
Magic Broom mount. For newer players, this mount allows for instant mounting, which is invaluable for use with gathering profession/non-instanced farming especially if you are not a druid.
Note that this is technically not a mount as it does not show up in your collection, it is a blue item and will take up 1 bag slot. The mount will only be usable for the duration of the event, and you will need to have the item on your character to use it (i.e. each character will need to have its own Magic Broom to use the mount).
There are 2 ways to get it, the first is simply by killing the Horseman (once per day) as the item has a pretty decent chance to drop from him.
Alternatively, you can purchase the mount by spending 150 tricky treats. Seeing as there's quite a bit of interest in levelling via CandyBuckets, this could be an alternative to spend the tricky treats.

The pre-patch for Shadowlands has brought a change to Chests from all expansions from open world to dungeons.
After you have finished reading leave a comment down below if you believe this is a good thing or a terrible change or possible bug.
I did some testing and have found a few interesting things.
scenario : Char 1(lvl10) | Char 2(lvl50) | Char 3(lvl25)
-If a chest is opened by Char 1 and looted. the chest will disappear and Char 2 and Char 3 would no longer be able to loot.
-If a chest is opened by Char 1 but NOT looted. the chest will remain and Char 2 and Char 3 would also be able to interact with the chest. Char 1 would see level 10 greens Char 2 would see level 30 greens(max) Char 3 would see level 25 greens and WOULD ALL HAVE DIFFERENT LOOT TABLES.
-The chest disappears almost immediately ONLY when all players who interacted with the chest have looted their items.
-There seems to be no timer on the chest after the first player has interacted with the chest but not looted. and from my testing at least 13 people looted the chest with 13 different chest loots.
-The items within a chest will scale with the level of the character. currently the gear will max out at level 30 even if a level 50 character opens the chest.
Overall i think its a great change that if implemented like a mining node where it disappears after 30 seconds of the first interaction would be nice.
