The first Battle for Azeroth content patch, Tides of Vengeance, will be releasing on December 11th (US) / 12th (EU). This new content patch will include an updated War Campaign for both
Alliance and
Horde,
World Incursions, Story Quests for
Saurfang,
Tyrande and
Vol'jin, New Heritage Armor for
Blood Elves and
Dwarves, the
Darkshore Warfront and New
Island Expeditions and
Rewards!
There are also a large number of system changes including Currency Vendors for
Warfronts,
Island Expeditions and
Azerite Armor.
Paragon Reputations are also returning which have a chance to award special toys and pets. Lastly, some old unused Azerite Traits have been removed and Blizzard has
added at least one new Azerite Trait to every spec!
There's also leveling improvements including
New Leveling Heirloom and
reducing the amount of experience to level from 1-110. In addition, the Heart of Azeroth upgrades from Magni for reaching certain thresholds of
Champions of Azeroth reputation are now account-wide as well.
More content is coming soon on
January 22nd when Season 2 of Battle for Azeroth begins. This marks the opening of the new
Battle of Dazar'alor raid, new PvP Season and new Mythic+ Seasonal Affix,
Segadora. Season 2 will also come with an overall Item Level Increase, with Mythic Battle of Dazar'alor dropping Item Level 415 Gear, increased Item Level from Mythic+. Most importantly, all
NEW pieces of epic Azerite Armor obtained after Season 2 starts will contain an extra ring of spec-specific Traits for you to choose from.
