New Icons in 3.2 (Build 10026)
The PTR always brings us new goodies, and this one is no exception. A total of
98
icons were added in the current build (3.2.10026).
Of course, all of these icons are available by browsing the individual database pages for items, spells, etc. You guys seem to appreciate seeing them all in one place, though, so here they are. :)

Wowhead: Glyphs and Spells, Together at Last!
If you've ever wondered if there was a glyph that affected your
Feuerball
spell and what it did, you've probably been scouring
a filtered list of mage glyphs
in an effort to answer that question. We here at Wowhead were not satisfied with that as a solution, so we've made the task easier!
Pages for spells that can be modified by glyphs (such as
) will now have a tab called "Modified By" which lists all of the glyphs that can alter the spell. Conversely, glyph items (such as
Glyphe 'Kleinere Proportionen'
and
Ausgebrannte Glyphe
) will now have a tab called "Modifies" which lists all ranks of the spell that it alters, allowing you to quickly review the spell and its normal effects.
Now, get out there and start inscribing!

Wowhead: More Static to You
The development team here at Wowhead has made some changes to the way we serve up static content on our servers. We have been moving files that do not change often (such as images) to a new server to help improve the performance of the site. Today, we completed that move.
For those of you who are using the
Powered by Wowhead
tooltips or the
Spread Wowhead
logos or search boxes, you should update your pages to take advantage of this performance gain.

The Sungrass is Always Greener on the Other Side of the Zone
My faction choice has historically been
a little biased
. My first character was a Dwarven Hunter that reached the ripe old level of 42 in the original game before I got tired of getting ganked in
STV
by bored Horde (which would make a good name for a guild, in my opinion). I also rolled a Dwarven Rogue as part of
a Three Stooges joke
. He was 'Cheatem'. I thought the name to be an apt one.
Regardless, most of my experience has been on the Horde side of the fence. I know that to be the case with Malgayne as well, so when I saw him exclaim
For The Horde...?
, the unsureness of his statement made me wonder if he was thinking of becoming a turncoat. So, I read his post. What did I learn? Malgayne suffers from the same syndrome that a lot of my friends do from time to time: Faction Envy.

Friday is Casual Day
To an extent, I have always been a social person. When given the option, I prefer to be hanging out with friends as opposed to doing something alone. I discovered video games before I turned 10 years old during a social gathering where some friends of mine were playing Super Mario Brothers on the
NES
. I was instantly enamored by the concept of electronic gaming and that fascination has carried on into my adult years. The social aspect of gaming has remained important, even to this day. Sure, I play a video game by myself every once in a while, but I have way more fun when I am competing with or against friends, or even when we're simply watching one another play a game.
World of Warcraft is no exception.
