Most players should have hit renown 24 last week, unlocking their second
Seelenbewahrer
upgrade, and allowing us to return 15 Redeemed Souls from the Maw and upgrade our Covenant Sanctums. Despite this catchup however, anima price are becoming prohibitive, creating a new hurdle in acquiring enough
Reservoiranima
to continue to purchase upgrades each week.
At this point, players should be able to start unlocking Tier 3 upgrades and even the Tier 4 and 5 upgrades for the Covenant's special activity (such as the Ember Court) shouldn't seem too far out of reach, although we're getting to the point where the hardest currency to keep up with isn't
Erlöste Seele
at all, but the
Reservoiranima
used alongside them. We've now received two
Seelenbewahrer
upgrades to increase the amount of Souls earned each week, allowing faster progression and unlocking those more expensive upgrades, but anima prices also continue to increase without any sort of similar catch up; therefore, it's very important you plan ahead and continue doing anima world quests, especially when going for the higher tier upgrades, or you may find yourself weeks behind on the 10, 12, or 15,000 anima required to unlock the upgrade you want! This is especially important if you're spending anima on other things as well, such as unlocking cosmetics or quickly healing your troops after Adventure missions.
While we recommend not worrying too much about how to spend your Redeemed Souls, you can get an overview of exactly what each feature has to offer and what it takes to upgrade them further in our
Guide to Upgrading Covenant Sanctums with Redeemed Souls
.
Upgrade Covenant Sanctums with Redeemed Souls
Inside, you'll find a more complete overview of each feature, such as the Covenant specific activities detailed below:
Kyrian:
The Path of Ascension
is a boss rush Colosseum in which the players Soulbinds will fight, rather than the player character themselves. Allowing access to Ascension Crafting, special reagents and boss lures to tackle greater challenges, offering better rewards.
Necrolord:
Abomination Stitching
directs you to create new constructs for bodiless souls, granting reputation with the
Flickmeister
, access to special rewards vendors selling unique collectables.
Night Fae:
The Queen's Conservatory
tasks players with finding
Ungezähmter Geist
and other wild spirits to nurture within the Conservatory, similar to the
Tiller's Farm
from
Mists of Pandaria
.
Venthyr:
The Ember Court
allows players to host elaborate parties, inviting notable Shadowlands NPCs, arranging the catering and entertainment, dealing with party crashers, and more. The happier your guests, the more
Der Gluthof
reputation and the better tribute received upon completion.
These mini-games offer several rewards, including profession crafting reagents, unique armor appearances, mounts, and other special rewards. Some of them are shared between each Covenant, but many are Covenant specific as well, so choosing where to dedicate your time to get the rewards you want (or simply doing all of them on multiple characters as much as possible!) can be very important to collectors.
