She will have 4 adds with her. This is much like Moroes fight.
Though she might look it, she is humanoid, not demon (little FYI to prot pally's)
The mobs are CC-able. IMO, it's best to use any CC you have on there CC as they will use it (blind, fear I have encountered). The shaman fights elemental and will OOM quickly.
It could just be bad luck, but when trying to tank, I would initally be taken out of combat right away by the rogue and warrior, so keep that in mind.
I don't know if they all do, but for sure, the Shaman will drink a health pot at 20%.
Also, add's will not despawn when she dies. Everything must be killed. If you kill any but fail the attempt they will fully respawn

Normal Instance Strategy:
*This encounter at this time seems quite buggy and unfinished*
Dalrissa has 4 adds. Which can also have pets :(
We had the Engineer, Warlock, Hunter, Shaman. Which ended up being like 6 adds.
We also did this with almost no CC. Had a Rogue for Sap. All these mobs are currently Humanoid.
Dalrissa is Untauntable (at least with Righteous Defence).
Most of the adds die fairly easy. The Shaman seemed to live forever when we were trying to kill him. The Engineer also uses things like Goblin Dragon Gun, Explosive Sheep etc.
Top priority should be the Shaman first. Most of these mobs also did not seem to follow regular threat rules. They were constantly running around in a chaotic jumble. An off healer is recommended to keep your main healer alive at times.
Have your healer(s) stand in the entrance behind you. Have your tank pull the group out from the pillars and tank/dps/cc them outside in the courtyard. This will stop your group from having healing/LoS issues.
If you clear both the left and right sides and pull them back you should be free to fear/kite as much as you like.
The encounter bugged out for us, the Satyr and Warlock both resetting halfway through the fight. We simply went in and killed the two of them alone after the others were dead, then claimed our loot from Dalrissa.
This is a fairly random win/loss fight right now by the looks of things. Don't get discouraged if you wipe on it a few times.

I think this encounter needs tuned a bit.
The Engineer (And in fact everything except the warrior) can be soloed by a hunter, and probably any other DPS class. Delrissa herself has a laughable amount of HP, even for a priest. All in all it looks like it could be a fun fight, but as it stands I don't think these mobs have enough HP to be intimidating unless your under-geared for the instance in the first place.

It is very wrong to say this is like a moroes (or HKM for that matter) It is infact an arena fight, there is no aggro and none of the mobs hit very hard. Suggest clearing a good bit of the area because you should treat this like a 5v5 arena versus npcs ofc.
To say there is no aggro is acctually a bit wrong, as the mobs tend to go for the healer in your group because of his constantly healing, which causes aggro, though its constantly reset so it seems like its just like arena where players usually go for a healer cause they are weak :)

I did this on normal mode the other day and figured i'd throw my 2 cents
my group had rogue, warrior, warlock, mage
I was the tank and the first time we went in we got destroyed due to a combination of the warrior mob charge, followed by me getting the rogue stun
The second time around we had our rogue go in bubbled with me close behind to pick up the group
since they are all untauntable it's a thunderclap/int. shout spam fight
everyone in the group should be ready to take some hits, even with spamming aoe's from the tank the aggro for this fight seems screwy and isn't fun at all
our final kill order was rogue-warlock-warrior-mage

On both regular and Heroic (we did Heroic as soon as we completed it on regular), the Priestess sometimes bungled our trapping (our only CC!) by getting
herself
trapped. I don't know if other CC works on her. The bomb sheep from the Engineer can also get themselves trapped by mistake.
Regular: Warrior, Mage, Rogue, Engineer. The Mage was incredibly squishy, so we killed him then killed the Warrior (who will fear). Although it's chancy, we did let the Rogue and Engineer run around (hopefully one of them would run into a trap) until we'd burned down the boss. The Engineer is annoying, but in my opinion most classes (unless they don't have much health, like perhaps a Priest - Priests, use Psychic Scream! Unless you have not cleared the sides) can handle it if he's loose: run from the sheep, run when he uses the dragon gun since he just stands there spewing hot fiery death. :)
Heroic: Engineer, Warlock, Shaman, Hunter. The Hunter add can and will drop freezing traps everywhere; his Concussive Shot seems to have a 100% chance to stun as well, or it felt that way since he constantly shot it at me and not once was I not stunned. Warlock will dot and fear, but she and her imp (as I found out early on, the boss will even bubble and heal the imp) are fairly squishy; the imp dies in two hits without heals. Ultimately we decided that the Shaman's heals were weak compared to the boss's heals (and yet he does take a while to kill - he will drop totems and Frost Shock), so we decided to burn down the boss before turning our attention to the adds (which are hopefully bashed/stunned, cycloned, slept, feared, trapped, ect.).
The boss is very weak, especially if you interrupt her flash heals; if your DPS is high enough (or you have lots of CC) you shouldn't have a problem taking her out first, even if there is a Shaman add. Just be mindful of the adds FFing your healer (or have a SS/BR/off-healer ready) - they aren't tauntable. On one attempt (when we were deciding a kill order - until we wiped and said Eff this and just burned her down instead), while we were killing adds, she went OOM from bubbling, spamming Renew, ect. and melee'd fulltime.

There's one very important tip. If you CTRL-V on the deck that is the very first pull of the instance, you can actually see Delrissa and her adds through the floor, target them, and even mark them. (You can't jump down, unfortunately).
This will allow a group to judge the difficutly of the fight before they even start the instance and decide whether or not to reset it for an easier group of adds.

This fight is more like the BRD Arena encounter for the Dungeon 2 upgrade event than anything. Zero threat list, it's a PvP style encounter. CC what you can on the fly, and focus fire targets one at a time. Relatively easy fight once you quit trying to apply PvE mechanics to it that work off of threat lists. Recommend forgoing tanking gear, and just straight up dpsing. Nothing hits superbly hard, and PvP gear is probably one of the best things you can wear in this fight, for the whole group.
If possible, Shaman -> Rogue -> Eng/Warlock -> Fury Warrior

We had 2 priests in the group, and the humanoids resisted our attempts to MC. Also, there was a guy in the group that is not listed on this page. He appeared to be a blood elf warrior, if that makes any sense.
We ended up just having a Pally tank try to hold as many as possible. We killed the warrior first, due to fear. Then the mage, engineer, the weird guy and finally the boss. As a side note, the priests were free to use Psychic Scream, since we'd cleared the back half of the room and pulled to there. It helped keep the adds off the healer and the squishies.
She dropped the enchanting pattern for us and the cloak.

I've been to this fight twice with my tankadin. The aggro is rather spread out and crazy.
As noted, this is like an arena fight, but it is also rather easy.
My first time, a shaman pulled with a totem and the mobs went wild but we won.
My second time, we won with little trouble despite the fact that I couldn't manage to hold aggro on them all at once.

Done MgT a few times today. This fight was one of the more interesting ones...
The first two attempts on the first run I did ended badly... tried to tank them all (as a tankadin), and they went crazy with CC.
Pop on my healing gear, and the group set up becomes 2 healer + 3 dps... that is similar to a 5v5 arena team. Sure enough, it was actually very easy. CC where you can, but as long as you keep everyone up and burst down targets as quickly as possible (just like arena) you should do fine.
I've yet to do it with a 4 dps + 1 healer set up, but I'd imagine it would be harder. But yeah, at the start of your run, just try and get your tank to bring whatever healing/dps gear they have, as an actual tank in this match is about as useful as... a tank in an arena match. =P
It was a *lot* of fun though. Also, I could imagine that resillience gear would come in handy for this fight given the erratic aggro and similarities to PvP - our priest got focus fired off the bat on our second attempt, and *barely* survived - but would have had a much easier time in full PvP gear. =)
Basically, to sum up, I'd recommend you try and treat it exactly like an arena match. PvP gear if you can, but remember to focus fire targets, communicate well, CC where possible, and make use of largely unused abilities (in PvE) such as Mana Drain (I even made use of Turn Evil on the engineer ^^).

I think this fight is horribly unbalanced/bugged. No forms of CC were working on our group's spread. Immune to Sap, immune to MC, Distracting them triggered the fight to start...
We got the Sammy, the Rogue, the Warrior, and the Hunter. It wasn't pleasant. Shammy removed all our buffs, Rogue Blinded/Gouged/Kicked at every opportunity, Warrior Feared, Hunter Concussive Shotted/Stunned with every shot...
It wasn't fun, and it resulted in a number of wipes. Maybe we'll end up treating it as a PvP match next time, but I dunno, we'll see. The 'match' needs some retooling in my opinion.

This is a very unconventional fight, albeit a welcome one. From my own personal experience, "normal" instance tactics don't work nearly as well as PvP tactics, especially on heroic.
Taunt doesn't work, CC is unreliable because the Priestess can dispel it, and each of the mobs have a pretty distinct character class associated with them. They also love resetting aggro and peeling for the healer. It's a dead giveaway of what this fight is supposed to resemble. ;)
We treated this like an arena match and one-shot it. Kill the healer (Delrissa) immediately, preferably keeping Aimed Shot/MS on her and blowing all your cooldowns in the process. Purge or spellsteal her Renew, especially on heroic. Kite/root/snare/cc the melee while killing the rest of the casters. Finish off the melee last. The important part is NOT to spread out your dps.
Don't try to tank them, it won't work because nothing has an aggro table. Put on your damage gear; they don't hit that hard anyway. It would help if your group put on pvp/stamina gear if they had any. PvP trinkets help a LOT.

I've just cleared this boss am hour ago and for some reason Delrissa didn't die after she got to 0 hp. She just started running after our healer, holy paladin so no problem there, and she stopped healing her adds.
She dropped right after the last add died and we were able to loot without any problems.

So basically the priest Delrissa loves to heal and dispell so you can't treat this as a normal pull. Your fears and sheeps WILL be dispelled.
What i found to work the best was to treat the encounter not so much as a pull or even an arena match but more of a free for all. Give each member of your party one target and have them solo it. Hell, even a paly healer can "turn evil" one of the demons and it works very well. Let everyone pick who they want to take and make sure you put an interupter on Delrissa for her heals. None of them really have a lot of life with the exception of the warrior.
Be very careful with the warrior and rogue... they seem to be the most dangerous. Other mobs just do damage that can be healed/dispelled through but those two love to intimidating shout and gouge/kidneyshot/cheapshot.
Our last run was....
our warrior tank on delrissa to interupt heals
our enhancement shaman crushed the mage... then went to delrissa
our hunter took their hunter
our paladin turn evil on the demon engineer
our mage spam sheeped the warrior and helped dps down the hunter and pet

As far as I could tell, the mobs in this encounter dont have normal aggro tables and you as a tank cant really influence who they will attack.
Its best to treat this fight as a 5v5 battle rather then a boss fight. Equip your pvp gear, CC what adds you can and kill the healer first (the boss) the pick off the rest one by one.

The fight was rather hard. Its hard to aggro the mobs and they're all immune to taunt. Having Shaman means u have both him and Delrisse purging and healing. Once we got the tactics right it went down flawlessly once Delrissa died.

Tried this fight today on heroic with me tanking, but wasn't able to finish it before people had to log. We're hoping to put a group together later and see if we can get it done then...
We got the following setup: Rogue, Mage, Warlock (and imp pet) and Warrior. All had class-appropriate skills (Rogue did Kidney Shot and in general seemed stun-happy, Warlock did Fear, Warrior had Intimidating Shout and started off with a Charge and accompanying stun, Mage had...actually I'm not sure what the mage did besides chain cast spells at me, I think Arcane Missile and Frostbolt, I don't remember seeing a sheep or a Counterspell but I could be wrong).
Our group was Warrior (tank), Priest (healer), Feral Druid, Balance Druid, and Mage. Consensus was that we needed another CC ability to get through it, but again time was short so we weren't able to play with the group makeup. We were in mostly T5 or equivalent gear. Roots
did not
work, even though it appears to be an outdoors location.
We tried sheeping either the Rogue or the Warrior, the Rogue was the better of the two to CC. If he was loose he would stun whoever pulled and then go destroy the healer (although he was fearable). With a second CC the Warrior would have undoubtedly been the second target, as he also had the tendency to go destroy the squishy members of the group. Alternatively we could have kept a Rogue on Delrissa, as my Shield Bash was our only quick CD interrupt but not enough to keep her from chaining Flash Heals during the encounter, and then I could have kept the Warrior busy.
Everyone either inside the gazebo that the boss is in or outside of it was necessary, otherwise our healer could not maintain LOS on the entire group. I personally thought we did slightly better when we were outside, by the room's entrance (and fearing was slightly safer that way, although clearing the entire area is probably not a bad idea).
Threat, if there is any, seems to be frequently wiped. Aggro was all over the place.
Overall this fight is much harder than it was on regular. We had essentially the same group of adds – only difference was the Shaman instead of the Warrior – and although it was chaotic we still managed to one-shot. (Granted, we were very overgeared for regular.)
edit: after updating some of my mods, it was clear that all the mobs in this fight were immune to taunt. sorry if I misinformed anyone.

On this fight, we had a hard time on heroic. We later found out that you could stack wound poison / mind-numbing poison on the main boss and she dies almost instantly. Four wipes taught us this :D. Be sure you have a rogue to do this and the rest of the fight is a breeze.

Before i explain WHAT we did, let me tell you one thing: THey are all CCABLE Sheep,Sleep,Seduce,Banish etc, Works.
Here is what my group did
Killed the priestess first (She is easiest)
We had one of them sheeped, One of them banished,One of them seduced and one of them froszen. Then we just went about recasting the CC and killed em off in order. Really easy to do. Nothing to it.

Ok so we're doing this instance on Normal mode yesterday. Seemed simple, CC the adds, Kill until dead, but not the case. First try we trap warlock, banish demon. We kill her immediately, now here's the interesting part....she dies, but comes back, can't target her, and we wipe. So figure small bug. We try again, now no CC works on anybody, and we wipe. Anybody else get that issue of killing her first, but then getting that bug?

For this fight on normal mode, it is a joke. The mobs hit for 300-1k, and are snarable, rootable, fearable, and sheepable. So basically, CC what you can, fear bomb the rest, and kill the Priestess in about 15 seconds.
Even thought the priestess is considered the "Boss", she is the easiest target to take down, and the most annoying if you leave her alone to heal.
On heroic mode, this fight is more like an easy arena match, 5v5. The mobs change agro randomly and at weird times, but luckily they don't all focus on one target like 5v5. Use the same strategy as on normal mode, with alot more focus on fearing the warrior and rogue mobs. Banish the demon, sheep the rest. Kill the Priestess first.
Best tip for this fight is to clear the entire area before the Priestess, so you have room for fear. Fear trivializes this fight.

I don't see listed the add I've gotten every time I've run this instance (normal and heroic): the blood-elf-looking guy dual wielding fist weapons. He doesn't look like he's wearing any chest armor and looks like he's wearing a kilt of some sort.
He hits pretty rabidly, but doesn't seem to do much else. It's kinda difficult paying attention to exactly what he's doing since I'm trying to spam purge and poison cleansing totems most of the time in this fight...anyone else have a clue?
I'll try to pay closer attention to him the next time through. I want to peg him as either a fury warrior or enhancement shaman, but I didn't see any stormstrikes or other tell-tale enhancement tricks (including totems). So maybe he's a BE Fury warrior...

ok....we get it...its like a 5v5 match. Thats all well and good but I do have a realistic question. I noticed as we were running this instance that the priestess is right below the very first bridge you cross. Has anyone tried doing this instance as just a run for her? Is it possible to jump down without aggroing her? I was just curious, if this has been answered already and I missed it, I apologize, but I think it would be interesting if people could run this instance by doing nothing more than 5v5 and leave with some epics.

I noticed a new add when I went in there today. Eldaris Brightblaze, shirtless Blood elf with the S1 fists. He has a debuff that increases arcane damage dealt to the person debuffed. I'm sure he has an arcane ability, but I didn't notice it as he wen't into a full stunlock and died shortly afterwards. Like all the other adds he's fully CCable.
The most recent time I did this fight the adds were warlock, shaman, rogue, and

It seems to me that Brightblaze is pretty obviously a monk-class NPC. Hopefully this is some foreshadowing, as I and many others have been prodding and suggesting monks for an expansion class.
Slightly off-topic: in my dream-scenario monks are like adepts (or enhance shamans), mana-using melee dpsers, but using
spirit
and strength as AP stats and agility for mitigation. It would amuse me if they couldn't equip anything except pole-arms, staffs, and fists, and couldn't wear chest or shoulder armor (with talents to make up for the vast cut of item budget, i.e. "when fighting without weapons, your melee attack power is increased by 22%; The freedom of not equipping a mantle increases your agility by 22%; Forgoing chest armor improves your chi flow increasing stamina by 22%"). Pardon my diversion.
Edit: Back on-topic! In a scenario like this where Delrissa's team is heavy on melee dps, her shaman will drop windfury totems and the rogue and monk will rip your party apart, in a case like this control the warlock, 2-shot the warlock's pet, and take out the rogue first! (Kill the totems whenever you can, or kite the melee away from them.) Focus fire and a mortal-strike effect (we used a hunter) along with purge can overcome enemy healing. Move on to the monk. Kill the rest at your leisure now that their team is broken.

Killed this boss twice on heroic, want to share my experience and maybe help another groups that are having trouble to clear this one.
The first thing that you must have in mind is that on this encounter, like in every other encounter in the game (and you should know it), melee class mobs do HEAVY damage on cloth and LITTLE damage on tank, while caster classes do about the SAME damage to tank as to the rest of the party.
The second thing is that DPS classes that have CC duties must not get stuck on getting their CC done. I mean, if you're mage, and your sheep gets dispelled 5 times in a row, and the mob is not a healer nor heavy melee class, you shall not waste your time on resheeping, go DPS the focus that tank orders you to! Always attack focus, even if there's another add attacking you. Nova, blink (if you're mage) and attack FOCUS mob, not the one chasing you.
After all, crowd control is not only Sheep, Sap and Seduce. Crowd control is making mobs do the things the way YOU want them to and not the way they want :P .Silence, roots and stuns are crowd control too and very useful BTW, and you'll need them all in this fight.
Well the most of the info you needed to know is already written. Now let's take a look at strategies (i gonna suppose that you cleared both left and right sides nearest to the entrance to the room we're talking about):
1. Don't body pull! at least not if you got a warrior in the adds group. move just as close as needed to be in range to shoot at one of the adds (or get a hunter MD on you, even better).
2. Use Berserker Rage right away. At least start in Berserker Stance. The warrior's intimidating shout will make you struggle right at the beginning and it's not good.
3. Ask In-combat CC classes (mage or lock) to make their stuff right after pulling, and moving away from CC zone right away. This will allow you to get Delrissa out of range and not be able to dispell sheeps.
4. Kill Delrissa first. Flash heal is a pain, so once the situation gets under control (crowd control done, party health not in danger) stun her and tell DPS classes to burn her down. She will fall in no-time. I'd suggest using Intimidating shout on halfway killing this one, just to allow your DPS relax and burn her without paying attention to CC for few seconds.
5. CCs will go away quite often, Don't forget to intimidate them, warlock fear/aoe fear, pala stun/concussion blow.. Everything will help.
6. Don't forget to move back right after pulling, away from columns, or your healer will stop healing and put your party members on ignore list.
Mob selection for crowd control:
1. Do NOT waste CC on mage. He'll plain frostbolt/blizzard on your party. Move out of blizzard and you're done. I shield slammed him, got aggro and mantained it with just refreshing spell reflect each time.
2. DO CC shammy. He will heal. And the priest will heal. Sheep him and kill him last. He will last forever, even while being the last mob in the pull. Don't waste your and your healers' mana pool attempting to take him down first.
3. Do NOT CC warrior, at least not with non-permament CCs like freezing trap or seduce. He'll kill your hunter if you order him to trap it. The best you can do and it's easily achiaveable is just... tank him! He will deaggro every now and then, just intercept him, hamstring, shield slam and he's back with you. I suggest saving your CC for another class like one of listed below:
4. Warlock should be CCd. however some temporary CC would be enough on this one(trap/seduce)
5. Rogue is a pain, CC him if you can. He will stun your healer and you don't want it.
6. Hunter and engineer are not that dangerous. You should be aware of that he's ranged so rooting him will not save your casters. Stun/disorient work better. Get out of LoS for good also.
For people saying that tanks should equip their DPS set here - I tried that and it's doable. However I prefer doing it in tank gear if I have to tank hard-hitting warrior add.
P.S. FFS! kill the imp first! gosh...

I've done this encounter on heroic with my guildees (guild is currently in the middle of T6 and so the guildees are geared accordingly ^^). Our general group setup is druid tank, pally healer (moi), ele shaman, enh shaman and fury warr.
On the first two days we got engineer, mage, MS warr and hunter. They were not too hard at all. We would fear the engineer and burn the mage, then the hunter pet, the hunter, Delrissa and then the engineer and MS warr. No big issues, though with the nature of the fight BoP and DS where necessary (where they aren't usually for a lot of bosses), and I even had to use LoH on the fury warr on the first kill.
Today however (third day of MgT) we got the line up of shaman, rogue, MS warr and hunter. It was absolute hell. We tried burning the shaman first (shammies are squishy, right? =P) and just could not burn him through his own and Delrissa's healing as the rogue and MS warr proceeded to tear our team apart, even with the ele shammy off healing. We tried the rogue first... same issue. We tried the priestess first... same issue. In the end, we *had* to swap the enh shammy out for a mage, and the strat that finally worked for us was: sheep rogue, fear hunter, burn priestess (focused on interrupting her heals to allow the shammy to go oom, though I did stun him when she was low on health), kill hunter pet, kill hunter, kill shaman, kill MS warr, then break and kill sheep. Even with that it was still hairy.
I love the fight, and it's a nice change - but without a doubt, it favours PvP specs and classes. Quick, reappliable CC makes it immensely easier, as do mostly PvP styled abilities such as mana draining and health debuffing abilities would also do wonders. Even with just a hunter instead of, say, the fury warrior, would've made things easier due to the aimed shot on the Priestess, and viper sting on the shaman.
Our usual instance click is pretty good - well geared players with a lot of skill. So we hate it when we have to sub someone out for better class balance. But unfortunately, if you get a *really* bad setup against you, it is something you really need to consider.
And PvP gear in this encounter helps *immensely*. If you have a PvP set, bring it with you. Hell, it's even worth considering buying the rare 5 piece set that you get from having reputation with the outland factions.

With heroic/t5 level gear, we have completed this instance 3 times so far(Every reset) on heroic. This fight is by far the most annoying, and at the same time, the most fun. Our instance group consists of:
- Feral Druid(Tank)
- Holy Paladin(Healer)
- Retribution Paladin
- Combat/Swords Rogue
- Destruction Warlock
On our first, and third clear, we found ourselves suck with the _Worst_ Possible setup. MS warrior, Rogue, Shaman, Hunter. After a few attempts, we found the best method for this is to engage from behind(After clearing the entire room). Rogue opens with a sap on their rogue, druid sleeps hunter pet, and warlock fears the MS Warrior. Warlock mana drains Delrissa while she is 'tanked' by the Ret Paladin. Feral druid attempts to keep the shaman under control. As CC's start breaking, paladins pop short-duration control(Repentance / Hammer of Justice), by this time, the priest should be OOM and near dead. If dps is slightly behind, warlock can blow Howl of Terror here, allowing a few more seconds for the dps to burn Delrissa. Keeping the MS warrior chain feared, we burned the shaman down quickly, as he should be OOM at this point, moving on to the rogue, followed by the hunter/pet, and lastly the MS warrior.
Do not hesitate to pop any cooldowns on this fight, as often they will be the difference between a repair bill, and getting your badges/epics. The next fight is an absolute pushover, so use what you have to here.
If you can get past this combo, especially with a low CC group, you should be set to farm this instance without much issue at all. Gear may be helpful, but not at all required.

I have killed her many times, however I have just noticed 1 thing that might explain the aggro issues.
Just a quick story to give you the idea of it. All of my group is dead except the lock and the warrior tank. The shaman and monk are still up. The shaman is being chain feared and the monk is almost dead with the warrior tanking him.
What I noticed from the distance is that while the warlock stands still to attack the monk, the monk stays on the warrior, but the very second the warlock attemps to back away in any way shape or form, wether it's because the warlock is too close, or because he needs to go re-fear the shaman, he would instantly pull aggro off the warrior, but the second he stops moving, the warrior would get aggro again.
This is a long shot, but there might be a possibility that the boss has aggro based loosely on their aggro table with instant aggro on moving targets.
if you think about this, in a 5v5 arena, when people run away, it's because they know they'll probably die if they stay where they were, if you program this into a boss encounter, attempting to run away because you'll probably die makes them know that you're trying to get away, so they all go after you to kill you or at least incapacitate you to prevent you from running.
Before anyone downranks this because they don't beleive it and I have no solid proof, I'd appreciate it if some people go and test this and post comments about it.
Edit: I asked my last heroic group to not move. we had a pally tank, so a conc was up with only 2 CCs (4 humanoids, no demons), after the pally had the conc up a bit, I ran out, and was immediatly targeted by the warlock, but the second I stopped moving, it retargeted the tank.
I'd highly suggest that if your group is a wiping a lot, have everyone just simply stop moving, and all stand in 1 spot so that all adds can be picked up quickly (preferably around a corner or a pole so that ranged mobs have to LoS to you.).
some people tend to move a lot in boss fights, and those people tend to die first, so there is a good chance this aggro is true.

I've done this on heroic several times now. My top tip is to kill the priestess first and leave the warlord until last (ensuring full cc up on him at all times).
For rogues - put on wound and mind numbing poison to help stop her heals. Also, if not Subtlety spec'd bring along several Sneaking Potions so that you can sap without detection issues (seeming the mobs are immune to distract).
Lastly, wear your PvP gear, especially your pvp trinket.

For priests: I found that as long as you aren't getting hit and everyone is pretty topped up a mass dispel here and there is very useful, especially if you have the warlock add.
It will take off delrissa's shield/renew on anyone, clear dots off your own team, and possibly clear CC off your own team.

After getting the boss and the adds down, spend some time reading what the boss yells during the fight when group members are (sad but true) killed. There are some funny things there:

If you're group is to slow to interrupt any heals the priestess casts you can also try to drain her mana, she doesn't has a lot and even when though you could say it would take a while to drain 18k mana, believe me it goes faster than you would think because the priestess uses a !@#$load of mana to cast a single spell.
Oh and another handy tip:
If you have the shaman you either kill the shaman first or you keep it cc'ed troughout the whole fight or untill you think you could handle the shaman.
It's no use killing his very deadly totems since he will only drop more of them.
Run out of range of the totems if you don't have any cc on him.
And don't bother draining his mana.
Remember to cast Curse of Tongues on the casters rather than casting a diffrent debuff, if you're grouped decides to leave the casters for lasts then run behind a wall if you get targeted by any of the casters, it will interrupt their spell and by the time they ran towards you they will have one of your friends as target.
This is an easy fight if you know what to do, just take some time with you're grouped to figure it out and you will usually always succeed in killing them fairly easy or else you're in for a couple of wipes :)

.
Some general tips:
Let your tank use dps gear, as although they have no real threat-table, you are still able to easily draw their attention by doing damage (but aswell healing).
Maybe equipe your PvP trinket (if you have it), to counter their CC abilities.
Kill the Priestress first, after you have CCed as many adds as possible, because her healing, purging and shielding is pure annoyance.
Use as much CC as possible, anything works besides Seduce, Enslave, Mind Control and Roots (you are not "outside").
Depending on which constellation you face, aswell your own group-setup:
Let your Hunter drop down a trap infront of your puller, so that the MS warrior will charge right into it (if you dont have a Hunter please CC him in another way, he is most dangerous (together with the Rogue) for your cloth-wearers.
CC the Rogue too ! (Nr.1 priority in my opinion)
Ignore the mage, just move out of the Blizzard and dispell his polymorph - he is no real threat and should die last, especially as he will most likely Iceblock for 10 seconds anyway, similar fact counts for the Engineer.
The warlock dies fast and I wouldnt prio him for any CC either, maybe move 1 melee onto him after you have taken down the Priestess.
More annoying are the Hunter (banish prio over the Engineer, if you have a warlock) and his pet (sleepable), aswell the shaman. - We usually let the tank hit those, to avoid them staying on your healer all the time. The Shaman at full mana will take you some time to bring down anyway, if you cannot stun-lock him, although he goes oom rather fast. Aswell if your tank is on him, he can focus on totem killing.
The monk I have never faced yet, sorry.
Edit: Had him now a few times and I would judge him as dangerous as the Hunter, but way less than the Rogue or the MS Warrior.
I hope I could help you a bit with what our strategy usually is in this fight, especially if you had problems here.

Well I have to say that as a Warlock I pray for the Engineer or Hunter. That means we are guaranteed to have one add CC'd for the entire fight. Makes it a lot easier.
Here is a HUGE tip. If you are able, take 2 Healers. Fight will be much easier then. In fact the second boss is much easier as well with two Healers and you can easily clear to 3rd Boss with two if you have CC or at least a Warlock to enslave the Sisters. Trouble is first and last boss need fast DPS so you can't do the whole instance like this.

: Tip for sapping, our groups have found that the mobs on the edges are actually the worst to sap. Sap the one of the two closest to delrissa and you are more likely to succeed. We have a rogue with 0/5 MOD do this in our runs, so anyone can.

I always found Warlord Salaris (MS Warri) to be the most dangerous add and a potential wipe reason if you don't bring enough CC along. MS and Harmstring are especially annoying (as in Arena matches) and his AoE Fear may aggro "bystanders". If he and/or the Warlock is in the group, it's highly recommended to clear any trash pack in the room. Likewise, if you use Fear as a form of your group's CC.
Tip: The PvP Medallion is very helpful in this fight, don't worry about dealing less damage or healing, it's all about controlling the enemies.

. I banished Garaxxas and we killed Sliver third, after Delrissa. We killed Garaxxas fourth, after Sliver.

(Warrior). One of the Mages sheeped him and we killed him last of all.

of course. We killed her second, after Apoko.
Kagani Nightstrike
(Rogue). The other Mage sheeped him and we killed him after Garaxxas.
Apoko
(Shaman). We killed him first as fast as we could.
This tactic worked very good and we got it on our first attempt.

The toughest encounter in the heroic mode. But totally doable with Kara/Badge equipped group no matter the composition (last time we have had a warlock in all blues, for example).
As a tank I can confirm, that it is near to impossible to tank those mobs, so equip the DPS you might have.
CC the MS warrior for later, since he kills very fast and does a mass fear. The fury warrior is not tankable also, you can only temporarily disable them by stunning and such (we have checked that while killing them last in the encounter by kiting between the moonkin and the elemental shaman).
Regulary drops the cloak defense enchantment pattern and healer's trinket.

Herioc mode on this boss blows. Seriously. If you don't have CC then you will phail badly.
Just had Holy paladin, Shadow priest, Rogue, Hunter and Prot Warrior.
We was against Priest, Warlock, Rogue, Hunter&Pet and MS warrior.
Our first plan was to trap the MS warrior and Sap the warlock and nuke the Priest. Failed. Rogue just went for the Spriest.
Next attempt we sapped the rogue and then the warlock feared everyone, the hunters pet ended up in a trap and the shadow priest ended up dead by the MS warrior.
So basically, if you want a good shot at this you need CC, 1/2 Mages atleast imo.

We encountered a strange bug when trying this fight. The adds were hunter, warrior, shaman, rogue. Our group CCed 3 of them, forgot which. We killed the boss first, and immediately after she went down, she rezzed. She ran around damaging and healing, but none of us could target her. Needless to say, this ended as a wipe. Has anyone else experienced this bug?

One thing that was not placed in the forums... We did not have enough CC but we did have a lock chain fearing. All of us died and watched the lock fight the engineer. One of us was wise enough to figure that he would run back in. In regular mode (at least) IF YOU DIE, YOU CAN RUN IN AND FIGHT AGAIN DURING THE SAME FIGHT. The boss died and the loot was able to be picked up.

Hunters can drop snake traps. The enemies will stupidly focus their abilities on the snakes, instead of the player characters. This provides considerable relief for a few seconds, and is easier than trying to catch a target in a Freezing Trap, which might be dispelled anyway.
The DoT from the snake poison breaks crowd control, of course, so don't do this if you are trying to keep a target polymorphed.

Deffinitly the worst encounter in any heroic 5-man.
The randomness of this fight is so bad I just want to scream.
If you are unlucky with the adds that spawn you will both have a rouge that will constantly kick your healer and a warrior that will make shishkebab of the same healer in notime. Basicly an encounter that is almost impossible without a mage, doable with one and a cakewalk if you are lucky enough to have 2 of them can´t be a good designed encounter.
I hate haveing to tell people they can´t join a PUG because they don´t have the CC that´s needed and this encounter basicly tell alot of people that *sorry pal* don´t bother because noone will want you in their group anyway. Especsially since so many people are inlove with CC and would Sheep one mob in any twomob pull if they could.
Me myself is a tankadin and don´t care much for it normally but with fears and tauntimmunity this is an encounter that demand it.
If you want some of the great loot in here but aren´t lucky enough to rolled a mage you best bet is probably being able to contribute to healing. haveing an offhealer is also highly useful on this encounter. Locks could get lucky I suppose, being able to banish something and rogues still got zap and kick. But if you really want to cruise throw Mgt in heroic mode bring a group of friends with two mages in it and it´s so simple it´s stupid.
Also I find druids the superior healingclass in here but that could just be my personal preferences.
Still though a 5-man encounter with such classdependant setup can´t be classified as anything but missarable.

The concept behind this fight is that it should resemble a PvP 5v5 bout. The mobs are programmed to CC because... well thats what players should do in a 5v5 (if possible). It doesn't matter how much threat you generate, every time you hit one aggro shifts to another random player (beware of the rogue, warrior, shaman trio, as if 2 of them end up on any one player besides your tank its lights out). For this reason, I have a few suggestions about DPS and CC.
1.) I recommend using any movement impairing abilities you can to slow down the mobs. This will enable more chances for the aggro on any one mob to cycle to the intended player (really important for CC players to do this). Make a /stopcasting button on your actionbar to prevent auto-attack from cycling aggro again.
2.) As stated earlier, bring your PvP trinkets. They will help you get out of stun-locks, traps, and fear. The quicker you can get out, the better chance you have at getting back on the mob you need to be on.
3.) Just like in arena, focus fire = win. Get as much physical dps on targets in this order:
pets (imps first)>engineer or clothies (whichever comes first, they causes a lot of trouble)>rogue or shaman (not fun if they stick around too long)> whatever is left
4.) Spell dps order: pets>warrior (if no CC is available)>engineer>hunter (if present)>whatever is left>boss
5.) To my knowledge the boss can be tanked (didn't really have much time to pay attention to her cause I was trying my hardest to CC the shaman). If and when the tank gets aggro on priestess, everyone stop dps-ing her and focus on adds. The tank can always turn to build aggro on her if needed.
6.) Have the healer shield him/herself roughly 3-5 secs before pulling. If the shaman purges the shield or the hunter arcane shots it (no idea if they can, but it's good to prepare for it anyway), the debuff from the shield should have been complete and the priest can pop it again.
This is unconfirmed but I hear damage in this part can be mitigated with resilience. Equip your best damage/healing/defense pvp items before you go in, but DO NOT put on your full PvP set. In full PvP your damage and healing go down too low to handle this heroic, but having some (under 100 res) would be good enough to lower the SWP debuff ticks (although its not that much damage to begin with) and lower the crits against you. If the gap in your performance stats is more than 300 of any one stat, ditch the pvp gear. Better to be high performance than high maintenance.

i figured this out a while ago, but in my opinion, there is the 1 main hell combo that is tough on normal, and impossible on heroic (my friends group of the top 5 people in his guild, who have killed council, found it extremely hard to get by) and it is "Monk, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock". My advice if you get this combo or another terrible one, after 3 pulls you can see which adds you got, if it is bad

reset the instance, and the minions will change. We did this once and got engineer, shaman, mage, hunter the next time and in my opinion that is the easiest combo. To approach the fight: in my experience, the best thing to do is play as a nuke-team 5v5. Nuke the healers first, priestess before shaman, but have a rogue/warrior interrupting the shamans heals. Then kill the shaman. Rogue and Monk seem to break cc alot so i would kill one of them next, if you have both, rogue first. For hunter or warlock, kill the pet first and put one dps on them. Preferably a rogue or a hunter to do damage and keep them where they are. On normal, the mage and engineer can normally be ignored and lack-lusterly cc'd, yet on heroic are extremely deadly. On heroic they should be nuked as they can deal high damage in short time and have low armor. Warrior, no exceptions, doesnt matter what, your best cc
MUST
always be concentrating to make sure he doesnt get out. If he is running around at will, its a wipe.
Good luck on this fight which you will love the first time, and dread any other time.

I recently had the encounter bug out in a group. After nuking down the priestess fast, she did not die. Instead, she continued to move around, hit people and heal, but she was not targetable, thus not killable. Needless to say, we wiped.

this fight is a 5 man arena fight. if you have pvp gear, then bring it, it will make this fight more manageable. they have no threat list because they behave like people( stupid people) in arena. Focus fire on delrissa first, and then use basic strategies you would normally use in arena. Bring your pvp gear though. this is important for your survival.

I'd like to add that Seduce DOES work in heroic mode, as does chain fearing. Today I cleared it with 2 locks, boomkin, holy priest (even lolwell specced to boot!) and me as prot warrior.
We had shammy chainfeared, warlock left to herself, imp 2 shotted, rogue and monk chain feared/seduced, and we also enslaved a succi from the previous pulls. With CoT on, it was easy to pummel the heals and whatnot. Shield slam sure helped a lot with dispelling bubbles, too, and it wasn't hard to get the rage with the monk giving me rage whenever he was free. After Delrissa died, I switched to my dw weapons and went to town. I'm a t4 geared warrior, and we had around t4-t5 gear.

Nobody's done a detailed breakdown of each add, here goes:
First off as said elsewhere, there is NO aggro table. Which means all 5 can and will coordinate to gang up on anyone they want. It also results in slight reprieves where one of them can drop you to triple digit health and then run off after someone else. It also means that sheep (the only sustainable cc on the dangerous mobs)
must
be diligently kept up above all else, especially if you're keeping the Warlord or Kagani out of the fight. They can and will wipe your group on their own (Kagani by stunlocking your healer, and the Warlord by fearing everyone, possibly causing you to aggro other groups, and/or 2-shotting most healers instantly with a normal hit + mortal strike).
Classes that make this fight easier: Anything that can CC. Mages, Locks, and Rogues are all very nice. Locks you can get unlucky with and not roll any demons, but if you clear the room you
can
fearbomb along with priests.
Priestess Delrissa - As her name implies, this is their healer and will always be in every configuration. Hits like a pansy even on cloth, but is usually taken down first so she can't throw crucial heals and run after your clothies during the fight. Curse of Tongues is nice, but hardly necessary.
Ellris Duskhallow (Warlock) - One of the 4 most deadly adds. First off, he starts with an imp. This imp shoots fireballs literally like a machine gun. They only hit for ~400, but if he targets your healer you can expect heals to take twice as long unless you have concentration aura + talents. You should have your tank take down the little demon at the start of the fight. Note: he CAN be revived, which is why it's not worth sacrificing quality dps to kill it. The lock himself does a fair bit of damage but nothing unhealable - the real danger is his fear. That can easily make you aggro a crowd in the room if you didn't full clear, or if you're really unlucky, a crowd in the courtyard behind you.
Kagani Nightstrike (Rogue) - I'd place this guy at #2 on the annoyance list. First off, if he gets on you unless you can frost nova and/or cyclone do NOT try to run away from him. Although tbh, if he starts off with his stunlock you can only pray your healer is on top of things and keeps you alive (assuming you're not in plate).
Yazzai (Mage) - Total wimp. His spells do a nice chunk of damage but he keels over like fried chicken. If you have humanoid cc, please don't waste it on him. Should be taken down second after the priestess if possible, maybe even first if you're confident of your dps.
Apoko (Shaman) - Two letters: CC. If both him AND the priestess are up, you're in for a long fight. The only exception is if your dps is all casters and you rolled Kagani and Warlord, Warlord and Eramas, Eramas and Kagani, or heaven help you, all 3 of them. In that case their burst damage is just too much to handle all together. But for most setups, definitely take this guy out of the fight.
Zelfan (Engineer) - Read Yazzai, except even weaker and can be banished (should be). Only real danger from him is if you stuns your healer just as people start taking huge amounts of burst.
Warlord Salaris (Warrior) - Definitely the most dangerous. His MS effect isn't what you need to watch for. As soon as he breaks CC (and there's no reason you shouldn't), he can and will run after a clothie, hit for a combined 10k as mentioned before (Normal attack + MS), and leave you a man down the rest of the fight. He will also fear as soon as he lands his first hit, so make sure you're far away from mobs you haven't cleared. Feel free to use any method to take him out of the fight, but I would avoid depending on frost traps.
Garaxxas (Hunter) - Read Zelfan, except even weaker. Can be banished like the tink, and packs a little pet that I was tanking in tree. If you have a druid, hibernate the pet and that'll be that for the first 30 seconds. Although there are rapidly diminishing returns on that spell, so preferably the tank should kill this guy after the first cast. The hunter has nothing to speak of in terms of abilities, you'll barely notice he's there.
Eramas Brightblaze (Monk) - Right behind Kagani is this guy. Just think of him as a fury war in terms of capabilities. Not as necessary to be CCed as Kagani, Warlord or Apoko, but if you have an extra feel free to use it. Not much to say except he deals quite a bit of damage.
Other tips for the fight:
ALWAYS fight in the courtyard. I always tell my group "if you fight in the pillars you die in the pillars." First off, if you don't clear the whole room this leaves you horribly vulnerable to fear. Secondly, this will cause massive line of sight problems for everyone, most notably your
healer
.
No, no setup is impossible. But setups can be very nearly so if you stacked only caster dps and/or melee.
Ask your tank to keep his shield on. Speaking from a healbot's point of view here but, the damage increase will be marginal and I'd much, much rather have you be able to use shield bash, etc, and more importantly have one less person to worry about dying in 2 seconds.
Don't panic if everyone swarms towards you and run. Stand where you are, use emergency cc/escapes such as frost nova/blink/cyclone/wing clip, then shift. Running makes it more annoying to heal, means you contribute nothing for the 10 seconds you spend dashing about like a headless chicken, and you'll probably die anyway if you wear cloth and all 5 gang up on you. Although if you haven't bettered the odds by the time all your cc break it's probably a wipe anyway.
Hardest setup: Warlord, Kagani, Eramas, Apoko, Priestess. Hands down. If you roll this one on heroic (nearly did for me minus kagani and plus yazzai), prepare yourself for a frustrating fight and very likely multiple wipes. Just behind is Ellrys instead of any of the 4. This is assuming you're in a PuG, because I've had groups that struggle with the easiest setups and others were we breeze through harder ones. That said, you should probably have a hunter and druid check as you're crossing the top walkway to make sure you don't get this one. If you do just go out and reset, you'd save much more time in the long run.
Overall not a hard fight once you get used to overriding your omen-addled aggro instincts to shut down when a mob runs towards you. Hope this helps

I'm going to throw in a new strategy I hadnt seen before yesterday. We had a Warrior tank, Druid healer, Balance Druid, Hunter and a lock.
We tried the usual tactics and quickly realised that while our tank overgeared mgt by far (this is on normal) we couldnt deal with all of them. The tank then switched over to his mage and then proceeded to tank the mobs with the mage using burst dps and spellstealing the shield. However I think this only works on normal mode.

I just did this fight. We had to verse the warlock, the mage, the rogue and the warrior. Our group consisted of a warlock (me) an elementalyshaman, a warrior tank, a mage and a priest healer. Was pretty hard seeing we had a squishy healer. My advice in cc the melee, we found it so much easier to fear the rogue and sheep the warrior the mage and the warock were an annoyence at most, the hardest part of this fight is learning how the adds benifit each other and working out which is the biggest threat. Humans can be sapped or polymorphed.
Take this into consideration when forming an MGT group.
I found the best set-up is:
Warrior Tank -> For last stand on the last boss + spell reflect's through out.
A druid healer -> Good healing for all the group, especially on the second boss, and hibernation for the third - if you get the hunter.
A mage - Good damage and crowd Control - can also IB on second boss.
A Rogue - Another CC'er, decent damage - and Cloak for the second boss.

Easly soloable as a Drood in Feral Tank T7.5 Gear.
Just heavy DPS on Shammie first (since he does the healing... blow ur berserk when he is close to death so u can finish him quickly), then the rogue (he does a lot of stuns) and then boss. The last 2 ones will be close to death if u've been using swipe/glyphed maul.
No need to blow frenzied regen, but u can do it if u are below 20% (blow survival instincts first, so u will get more healing)

Huge tip for level 80 Death Knights wanting to solo this boss, just save Army of the Dead and pop it here, then run in, and nuke her down, then just kill them one by one as the ghouls will go for one NPC each and "tank" them for a few seconds :D made the fight really fun and easy

this can be soloed by any tank in heroic, but it all depends on what set up u get. i suggest checking at the start of the instance to see what the adds are. if you get apoko and the rogue, then theres no chance, just reset instance.

I tried to kill her on my lvl80 Mage along with a DK friend of mine and we just couldn't kill her during the first minute of the fight, she went down to 1HP 3 times before popping a heal and getting healed again, I was spamming instant casts like mad when she was at 1HP and she just didn't die! She got killed eventually but I almost ripped the keyboard off frustration.

Unfortunately, you have to kill ALL of the mobs to end the boss battle. If you kill all but one (even if one of the dead is the Priestess), then they will all respawn if you wipe.

Army of the Dead for the win. I'm unholy spec so I built up some runic power, summoned the army and set them loose on the hapless fools. It was like taking candy form a baby. I used army on the second boss but that fight seemed harder than this one. I forgot to mention it was in normal mode.

As a feral druid pretty well geared..soloing her i started as cat got five combo points then laid a rip on her.. fishied the fight spamming swipe til she got down along with two of the adds.. then finished the fight in cat killing the remaining to adds.

I would like to state they mirrored a s3 5v5 match beautifully in this instance. I would know, as I played a lot s3.
*They're all wearing s1 welfare gear, Blizzard acknowledges this.
*They have very little coordination, they attack different targets, etc.
*They break each other's CC's!

I was soloing this on my DK a moment ago doing my daily mount/pet run and I guess the encounter bugged out. After the last mob died I received the +250 rep, but was unable to loot Delrissa and receive a badge. There were no sparklies. I'm not sure what caused it, so it very well may have just been a random and unfortunate accident.
Just figured I'd let you all know in case it happens to anybody else; you're not alone. :P

Just soloed her on Heroic and wasn't able to loot her corpse. Fortunately Kael'thas dropped the Orb right afterward so it doesn't really matter what she had, but still a bit annoying. Is this a bug with soloing it or something?

Most of the time this fight (Heroic) is simple on my bear tank, but it can get tricky when you get the combo of:
Apoko
Brightblaze
Nightstrike
Duskhallow
This brings two healers into the battle (Delrissa herself and Apoko), two annoying stunners who make use of Apoko's totems (Brightblaze and Nightstrike) and a ranged DPS who wont run right up to you for you to swipe to death.
The way I do this fight with this particular configuration is to position myself in front of the pillar two spaces to the right of where Fizzle the imp is standing at the start of the fight - right on top of a potted tree. This forces all of the adds to stack right on top of each other due to line of sight and you can immediately pop berzerk and madly spam mangle/maul (get a maul in during the GCD on mangle) - This will be too much for the healers to keep up with and you should be able to kill Nightstrike (My choice to go first due to his dps and stuns) and have them pretty drained on mana before things can get out of hand. (I also pop all my dodge trinkets, barkskin etc for this dangerous first 20 seconds of the fight)
Then it's a simple matter of popping your frenzied regen and offing the rest one at a time. I'll take out Brightblaze second, then Delirissa, then Apoko and finally Duskhallow. This way if you get low on health with a couple of them still up, youll be able to pop out and heal without any melee to stun/damage you in druid form.

Didn't drop any loot for me, I've killed her 3 times. First time I was able to loot her, the 2 others not. The difference I made from first and the other 2 is that i killed her first of all 5 on the last 2 attempts.
So beware of killing her first.

Solo'd this as a Hunter, for anyone who's looking to solo this, rather than CC'ing the Priestess (healer) just let her heal, and her mana will quickly run out. If you're going to CC any, have it be the Rogue (stuns). Everything else can be resisted (fire, arcane, poison, etc) since you're a high level.

Solo'ed as 80lvl undead Prot warrior. With Toc10/25 gear.
Got the setup, with rogue, warrior, shamy, wlock and ofc priestiess.
Its all ezmode as long as u interupt shaman. Just run in and start with shockwave, as they are grouped together all get stunned. Do it all the time. Shield bash + heroic throw + concussion blow is very usefull. ;)

Just solo'd (normal) as a boomkin and died many times on Vex and the priestess group. My gear isn't that great. Some deadly/furious pvp gear and some lvl 200 pve pieces. 1st boss wasn't really a problem.
Vex is a dps race. On both Vex and Priestess, lead off with your ents and get a couple secs of free casting.
The priestess group is a pain because they CC'd the crap out of me. I finally figured out a strat that worked ok. Lead off with ents and dps down the lowest hp targets first (like pets). Ignore the priestess. Keep roots on the warrior to avoid a mortal strike because you must heal or die. Keep barkskin on cooldown and save the 1st one for healing.
Kael was pretty easy to kill and keep myself healed. I really doubt I could do heroic.

solo'd as hunter and bear in pvp gear. After reading the stuff above I pretty much nuked the priestess then the shammy rogue engineer and lock.
My bear didn't have much trouble but I was getting hacked a lot by the rogue until I could focus on him.
After the fight there was no loot dropped though. Anyone have this before?

If you kill her and you're not avaliable to loot her, you can just go do something else for a while and she will respawn. I went back 2 hours after she died (the door to Kael'Thas didn't open so i couldn't finnish the run) and she was alive with her adds again. Kill ->Loot -> go for Kael'Thas.

First of all, especially on heroic mode, make sure to clear both sides of the entrance to her area, so you have some room to maneuever in, and don't have to worry about being feared into adds.
Princess always has 4 randomly selected adds with her, much like Moroes in Karazhan. They can be any combination of the following:
Apoko - Shaman - Drops Totems & Heals
Eramas Brightblaze - Fury Warrior - Pummels
Ellrys Duskhollow - Warlock - Shadowbolt & Fear & SoC
-Ellrys also comes with a non-elite Imp, Fizzle
Garaxxas - Hunter - Freezing Trap
-Garaxxas also comes with a non-elite pet Ravager, Sliver

Crowd control is a MUST in this fight. Some mobs are demons and can be banished, the others are humanoids and can be sheeped, frozen, charmed, etc. It's up to the group to decide which to CC, and it's completely random, considering the group makeup of her adds changes from run to run.
Just make sure to CC all you can, burn them individually. The Priestess herself does heal, but she has a low mana pool and runs out quickly.
All of the mobs must die in order to loot the princess.
Basic strategy is as follows:
CC all of them that you can, and lead the rest out to the area you just cleared, in front of the platform. Out there, you can use fears and such to cc further, and also have room to maneuver around without fear of aggroing the mobs from behind her. Just make sure to focus DPS, and burn the adds in order one at a time, and you'll be fine.
I wish I could be of more help, but the strategies really do vary from fight to fight considering the random adds. Just use your best reasoning.

Incredibly tough fight on heroic. It really depends on your group makeup, and the randomly selected mobs. If you get stuck with the rogue, ms warrior, and shammy like we did then you are in a lot of trouble. Rogues does insane damage and long stuns, ms warrior hits hard and of course has the dreaded MS debuff, and shammy casts big heals on all the mobs. You just have to CC as much as you can, fear like crazy, focus fire, and hope for the best.

Just did it on heroic on Burning Steppes.
Group setup was: prot war (me), holy priest, rogue, mage & lock.
Adds we had: Fury war, rogue, shaman, warlock.
The tactic we used was: sap fury war, sheep rogue, fear shaman, tank boss & lock.
Kill order was: Boss - Fury war - Lock - Shaman - Rogue.
We got to this tactic after countless wiping, but when we tried it - we killed boss on 2d try.
The main problem in this fight is that boss & most of the adds are taunt iimmune and have some kind of threat wiping, so tanking them is always messed up and mad. The more CC you have in this fight the easier it is, but i think at least 2 CC is the must there.

Wiped on her for like an hour in heroic b/c they had more CC than us. Switched feral druid for mage & killed in first try. CC is just that important here in this fight where you can't tank it at all.
Have your prot warrior put on DPS gear to interrupt & hamstring everything so he's not dead weight, there is no agro here.

Quick tip, if you have a Priest in your party, holy or shadow, have him hit V so he can see enemy bars above their heads, then Mind Vision the left mob halfway down the bridge, look down, and see the priestess's bar, then you can Mind Vision her to see what your lineup is, easy way to decide whether you should reset or not

We tried and wiped this on heroic about 10 times with a 3 hunter group.
Freeze Traps don't work very well here.
We added a mage and a rogue and tried again (two hunters left), but our priest healer kept dieing. I really think Warlocks are the key to reliably killing this boss.

You have to down Priestess first we found that the easiest way to do it. CC the mobs that are CCable and focus all dps on priestess. After that just make sure u keep polyd, banished, etc.. and clear the rest .. Easy as pie

The drop rates thottbot listed are a little off for my runs so far:
17 out of 18 runs she's dropped Timbal's Focusing Crystal, 1 time she has dropped Shard of Contempt.
Starting to think that the stam trinket doesn't exist :(

You can kite this one very effectively as a hunter if you know what you're doing.
Lay explosive trap, pick a mob (princess is good) and aimed shot, multi-shot then RUN! Drop frost trap once explosive trap is set off (explosion is needed to build aggro, so wait for CD, then frost so you can make good your getaway). Kite the whole pack through the tunnel, the first courtyard, up the stairs etc. there is no "leash" to prevent them following, it is just standard kiting.
Meanwhile your tank pulls out a single target,(get the rogue if he's there, as he's a beast) and burns it down fast with rest of group. Another CC can also pick out a target to sheep etc., once the remainder of the group is off after the hunter. Once tank's targets are down (simple one by one), hunter feigns sending remaining adds back to the waiting ambush, who will be healed, ready and waiting. Have tank stand in doorway to the courtyard to pick up initial aggro, and CC where possible.

I did this fight on heroic 7 times in a row this week and from what I observed the threat table is reset every 5 seconds.
One of the bigger mistakes I see groups trying to do is to get a lot of the members inside the shrine or just by the arches into it, where everyone except the tank and maybe healer need to be is back towards the entrance hutch to the large room that houses the shrine that the mob stands inside. The reason is simple, most of the time there are 6 or more entities in that mob, they will reset agro every 5 seconds, and anyone with in about 25 yards has an equal chance of getting agro. If your in there with the tank alone chances are good that you will get 3 or more of the mob on you, this is bad if you only have a couple thousand points of armor.
Spells, Damage, and threat still effect the fight, if a reset occurs for example and the initial agro is a tank that is getting a heal it will go for the healer. If you potion or bandage near the mob during a reset you will also likely get the initial agro. with in that 5 seconds its possible to over threat anything trying to tank. More often then not the mob will go after your DPS as the highest, fastest threat generators.

The hunter pet can be taunted, maybe the imp, not sure.
There is an aggro table of some kind, but most of the mobs are immune to taunt and will pull off a tank that tries to build threat.

*Shaman must use Only his Lesser Healing wave , Chain heal and Chain lightning ( It's Not important to use Chian Lighting .. it can do some helpful dps must be used when Players Atleast Gain Aggro of mobs so Shammy Doesn't Take Aggro ) , Shammy Must Use Grace of Air Totem , Healing Stream , Stoneskin Totem )
*Once Fight Begins your Druid Must Place HOTS at Once to Tank and Other DPSers ..Avoid using Your Tree of Life Form Because you may need to use Healing Touch , also use Cyclone on Ellrys or Kagani but i Adivise you to use it on Kagani
*Mage Should Polymorph someone Especialy Warlord Salaris if He's There NOTICE:Not all NPCs are There alos Be Sure if Kagani Uses His Vanish use Any AOE Spell To Avoid Stun , Use Frostbolt as your main DPS also use Counterspell on Yazzai .. and don't worry for your mana as long as you got Evocation
*Warlock Should Banish Zelfan to Avoid his AOE Spells and Send a Voidwalker at once to tank Eramas if he's Present use your Curses or Shadowbolt as Main DPS .. Also Focus to Spam Fear on Apoko to avoid his Heals and Totems .. Don't Worry he Won't Report you For sapmming it on him
*Warrior should use Shield wall when he is outnumbered in case someone dies .. he uses Trinkets and Last Stand as Well .. Coz thse Mobs seem tougher Then Kael'thas in The End also Whenever you need to Foucs on Priestess or She Heals her Friends Whenver She Casts Her holy Spells Use Shield Bash and you Better Spend Talents to allow it also to silence her , Whenever you see Someone Approaching The Healer Charge him and taunt hi maway
Order to kill:
When Fight Begins The Aggro Should be When Mage Polymorphes then The Warlock Fears Apoko , if he is not present use it on Kagani < When Mage pulls All enemies will attack him but to avoid a Chargeon him from Warlord Salaris it's Advised to Polymorph him .. Eramas Should be killed After Priestess also Druid must Cyclone Either Ellrys or Kagani and focus They Never Set Free Then you Should Remove any Pets .. if you got an Arms Warrior he's Great .. use him to Kill The Pets of NPCs Also on Each Target A Mortal Strike Must occur .. After you kill Eramas kill Apoko Then Kagani Then Yazzai or Zelfan .. Then Keep Warlord at The end .. once you pull him you need full dps not Healing Your Shaman can use his Lightning bolt and Shock Spells , your Druid could spam Wrath , Moonfire once you killed The Warlord you Will Succeed in The Encounter ...here is a Bug That Enables Priestess Delrissa to fight After She dies then she is Untargetable so Watch out...

Quite a difficult fight, for the uninitiated. Best tactic I've found is to sheep the Rogue, take down the Warrior first, then the Boss herself, then the Demon and the Caster, before finishing off the Rogue. Hey presto, you got yourself a dead boss (and a nice enchant formula, for any enchanters in the party)

Everything I've been told so far says to treat this like a 5v5 Arena fight. There's no aggro table, the priestess will dispel sheep and any buffs she can find, and the other adds are general pains in the neck.
First, clear the front half of the room (don't forget the adds that are in the corner rooms), then pull the Priestess's group to the doorway (the warrior add will use an AoE fear that's unresistable, so you need lots of room).
Once they're pulled, you can hunter trap an add, and burn down the priestess, ignoring or spam-fearing the rest until she's gone. She will use Flash Heal on anything that needs it (which should just be only her if you're burning her down), so make sure to interrupt her heals or she'll take too long to kill and the adds will wear you down.
Once she's gone, you can safely use CC on the adds and kill them one by one - they're not hugely difficult to kill, our warlock and rogue were solo-killing them fairly easily while we figured out the kill order.
You can't loot the Priestess until all of the adds are dead, so don't try - just concentrate on the fight, and you should do all right :-)
